Boston College would be great, but I don't get the sense they want to go anywhere. Rutgers and Syracuse break into new markets for the Big Ten, and while the NYC market isn't really based around one team (Wisconsin and Michigan probably have just as many alumni here as Cuse) both of those teams enhance the Big Ten's presence in some of the nations biggest markets and are very strong academically. Syracuse football has been down for a while but has a strong history and the basketball program is elite. Rutgers isn't great athletically, but they've been improving and you'd have to figure a move to the Big Ten would allow them to keep some of that NJ talent that goes elsewhere.

Oh I know, I just said Iowa State because I'd prefer that conferences at least appear geographically reasonable. Texas in the Big 10 is as stupid as TCU in the Big East.

The question then is whether the rest of the Big Ten goes along with it, and whether the deals the Big Ten Network has worked out would allow that to happen. I don't see any way that Texas to the Big Ten happens without a major shift within the Big ten itself, and that seems like a longshot.

OMG someday when I'm retired I'm hoping to do a road trip to a number of US College stadiums:
Florida
FSU
Tennessee
Georgia
Texas
Va Tech
Michigan
OSU
ND
In the meantime, I'll try to hit the Rose Bowl and/or USC out on the West Coast. Heard Husky Stadium is pretty sweet too -- too bad I hate them .

I don't see LSU on your list, therefore, it is incomplete.

Sure, add LSU (and Alabama for that matter) -- the list wasn't meant to be exhaustive

Don't waste your time with Doak Campbell Stadium.. that place is a real dump and needs some attention. The last time they worked on the stadium they added a classroom onto the stadium so they could get state tax money to add those pretty bricks around it, but they forgot to fix the leaking restroom pipes were sewage drips onto levels below them and flood in front of the door.
Also the OU game and UF games will be the only two sell outs in the last 2 1/2 years. They don't show up like they use to.

I didn't think the ACC could get much worse in football but it appears they can. The best team in that conference will end up being what 7th in every other conference in most years.
It will be a hell of a BB conference though.

they should be 0-3 right now, if it wasn't for some SEC friendly calls in the Utah state game and a terrible coaching job by Mullen they would of lost.
oh
Rocky top makes me puke...

I don't want to see all the expansion, it seems like an ole fashion arms race that is going to ruin a lot of long time rivalries. TAMU vs UT, OU vs UT, if Aurburn goes to the east in the SEC Bama isn't going to give up the tennessee game but wont be able to keep both UT and AU rivalries.
UF and Auburn use to have a huge rivalry until 92' when they brought in USCe and Arkansas. It's going to be nice if they re-new that. However I do not want Mizzou in the conference. I would rather take back GT for the east or even one out of Duke, UNC, Clemson, VT.
I really just don't want to see northern schools in the SEC. I would like to add more academic oriented schools into the SEC so Vandy along with Florida don't pull the weight for the conference.

an amazingly terrible call against Washington in Nebraska cost them a touchdown, gave nebraska the ball and an extra 15 yards...unreal big 10 officiating. horrific botched call.

How many PI calls were against UF today? Officiating has been awful this year. Oklahoma is playing FSU and the officials tonight.

I will agree ... the game is pretty much being called in one sided. Its almost like the ACC officials are NHL Refs and FSU are the regular season Vancouver Canucks
Edit: Good TD but the QB took his helmet off on the field celebrating .. where was the penalty ?
