I'm a 28-year old software consultant. When I find I have to go to junior guys (even summer students) for technology advice, I feel extremely old. I'm not the "go-to" guy anymore for tech questions, unless it's my parents. Ugh.
Concerts are the big one for me - i am older than all the obnoxious young punks and when I have floor tickets, I find myself envying the people in the seats knowing my feet will ache for days
I have a sister ten years older than me with a kid who is turning 20 in March and another turning 18 this October... so I have always felt old... but not as old as her! And don't worry, I remind her of that!
But honestly, being a grad student has made me feel old. Walking through the halls seeing kids 10 years younger than me as first year students..I always thought I was hip and cool still (joking with those words, but seriously what do kids say these days?) Radiculawesome?) till I went to campus bar for welcome week and watched Mother Mother. I felt like I should be calling all their parents the way these kids were drinking and acting... gosh darnit.
troutman, do we ever get TOO old to go see good live music? I looked around and didn't see many people older than me..

Burning a cd meant listening to the radio with a blank tape in and trying to time the press of record. More often than not the radio host would talk a few seconds into the song so you always had to deal with that every time you re-played your new tape.

I'm only 18 but realizing that I was in grade 4 10 years ago is pretty surprising to me. I have no idea how you guys put up with being around for things that happened 20 or 30 years ago.
I remember when the prairies were full of buffalo.
I did feel old when I realized I was older than any player in the NHL.
I really, really wanted the Flames to re-sign Steve Staois for no other reason than the fact I would still remain younger than at least 1 player on the team.
Now, I would be the wiley old veteran on the team.
edit: I also remember buying the VHS tape, for video in my signature from Shoppers Drug Mart, and thinking how awesome it was when I watched it 5 times a day in 87. I thought Al Macinnis was awesome for no other reason than he played the trombone in that video, as I did as well in grade 7, at the time.
I was training a guy last week and "Enter Sandman" came over the PA, and I realized that the song is now 20 years old. I remember liking Metallica before Bob Rock got his evil hands on them.
