Sorry about that, I think I kind of got the ball rolling there. I actually don't like mixing the two subjects either.

Might want to avoid NFL stadiums this year then.

So you're in the stands at an NFL stadium, you left your handheld device in the car and you have no idea how your fantasy football team is doing.
If only they'd show out-of-town fantasy football statistics on the scoreboard.
Fantasy? Not anymore.
Starting with Thursday's New Orleans Saints-Green Bay Packers season opener at Lambeau Field, all NFL teams have been directed to show real-time fantasy football statistics on their scoreboards, league spokesman Brian McCarthy said, USA Today reported.
Previously, it was at the discretion of the league's 32 teams whether to display out-of-town individual statistics on stadium video boards.

Yeah, whether people like it or not fantasy football is huge, and it is an obsticle for owners wanting to sell tickets. People sitting at home with a case of beer that cost less than one in the stadium with a couple HD TV's, a lap top and Ipad to follow the action on Sunday, aren't feeling the urge to spend the extra money to go to a game.
Really one game a year is awesome just to be in the atmosphere...but the other 16 weeks of the season, I can see why people stay home. For the cost of season tickets, parking, and some concession items...you can buy those T.V's, Sunday ticket, an Ipad, and still have money left over.
Tonights game looks to be a good matchup, but from what I rember of these Thursday season openers....expect the defences to have their way tonight. I think Peyton Manning shredding the Saints on a Thursday to open the 2008 season is about the only big offensive performance I can remember in the past 5 years.

Can someone explain to me why the pundits are falling all over themselves to gush over Dallas hiring Rob Ryan? His defenses have finished in the bottom third of the league in yards and points allowed every year except 2006 when Oakland finished 3rd in yards allowed and 18th in points allowed, and last year when Cleveland finished 22nd in yards allowed and 13th in points allowed.

I honestly think it has a lot to do with the Rex hype.
Their Dad was a genius, and they've both had some success at the NFL level so there is no doubting their credentials, but the media is in love with Rex and the Jets and I think it has rubbed off on Rob's star.

######! They really should bring in David Garrard. Garrard/Collins is way better then Collins/Painter.
Looks like Houston will finally make the playoffs.

The Saints used to be cute, but their fans and that stupid 'Who Dat' line are more grating than any others in the league. It's not really their fault, I blame that f'in NFL Shop commercial.

I was wondering what all this 'who dat' talk was about when someone said it to me. Like I said I'm a n00b to NFL and just jumped on the Saints wagon.
I did have a Saints hat when I was about 14 after my stepdad brought one back for me from a trip and from the limited NFL I did watch I liked Brees when he was with the Chargers for some unknown reason.

Just curious why you went with the Saints. I get the question all the time as a Dolphins fan from Canada who lives in NYC and I don't really have a response, I've just always been a Phins fan. I actually don't recall not being a fan, even from the Tecmo Bowl days I always picked Miami.
