What Team Would U Want???
IF you were new to the CPHL and every team was available as they currently stand, what team would you want?
NOTE: You can't pick your current team.
Do you value high end players that look like they will win?
Do you value high end prospects to build a foundation on for the future?
Let's find out what type of team is most coveted by the league!!!
There will be a poll when Grant is able to put it up...stay tuned.

I like throwing my own stamp on things, and starting fresh. Ideally I'd take a bottom feeder with no or few prospects and build them into an elite team. More of a challenge that way. Basically what I've already done thus far, and am proceeding to do going forward.

Right now, I'd settle for any team. I really enjoyed starting the Jets up as an expansion team. That team 100% mine, no one else had a chance to make a mess of it before I did. Proto gave me a fighting chance by leaving me Rick DiPietro for the 2nd pick in the expansion draft!

Calgary Flames, after that any team but the Oilers Canucks and Leafs
I don't care what the rosters are, the less the better

My love for the Flames, regardless of the players on the roster, answers this question. I kind of think with my heart first.
I really like Pittsburgh too. The blend of players is fantastic in my books.

I assume Dallas was left out of the voting list because everyone would pick them?
I like a team in transition. Like Dallas or the Devils. I don't really care much about the crest of the team for a sim league though.

I will write up an article when this is done. We will run 10 different polls to find out the top 10 teams.

I really think that my answer is really a cop out of the question... but it is the truth. But in spirit of the question I have always been jealous of the player personal that Ravi has assembled.

I guess we'll find out when BJ decides to take him out of retirement and make a post.

Philly would be number 1 but since I have them I would take Nashville (my first team in the CPHL).

I would never ever give up the Pens just given the amount of time that has gone into getting them to where they are. However I voted for Montreal because if I had to trade franchises I would like my favorite NHL team.

I picked my team also, but like Goffie said, I wouldn't mind switching franchises with the Leafs.

For the purpose of this poll and for the next 9 or so that will follow, I think implementing a rule that u can't pick your own team is the only way to have successful results for this 'experiment'.
