Total embarrassment for the Stampeders. These might be the case of the Stamps taking the Eskimos lightly especially after that awesome offensive drive in the first half. Giving up 24 points in turnover points will not do the team any good. Stampeders playing against the team that gave up a lot of QB sacks in the last few games, our defense did not pressure Ricky Ray enough all day which is shocking. The intensity on all facets of the Stampeders was not even there. Unnecessary penalties continue to haunt the Stampeders. Burris and offense who never give up any INTs and just gave up 1 fumble in last few games gave up 2 INTs and 2 fumbles and all 4 turnovers ended up points for the Eskimos. I can't say I blame Burris 100% on the lack of offense this game and definitely cannot blame the receivers at all. The blames should be split amongst the OLines, Burris, Dickerson and Hufnagel. I am hoping this is going to be a huge wake up call for this team and comes back with the vengeance on Friday against the same team.
Calgary did exactly what Winnipeg did yesterday, forgot to show up.
Yep. Reading your press clippings and overlooking slumping opponents. All you can do is look at the positives in that this will be a major kick in the rear and eye opener for these teams.
Shook his arm at the stands. It wasn't crude but a clear sign of frustration and something you don't expect to see from the leader of your offence. Not a good day at all.
Yeah can't do that - the fans had a right to boo and he can't react like that. Really unprofessional.
He takes a lot of the blame when the offence goes south but so do all QB's in football. You have to suck it up and play through that. To make things worse he followed it with a terrible INT.
I think the offence is in need of a shakeup and as much as I hate to say it I believe Coker should come in for Raynolds on the short week. Guy has blazing speed and has been lights out in practice. He could be the change up that gets the running game going as Reynolds can't even get out of the backfield on most of his carries.
Yeah I agree that Reynolds seems to have lost a step. The offensive scheme seems to be very vanilla too.
I really disagree, I don't think there is anyway we can know that. There is no commitment to run the ball. Reynolds is getting less than 10 touches per game on average. The real issue is the o-line, they can't run block this year.
Took my two kids to there first football game. Sat in section A (last section by scoreboard) and the play never once came down to that end of the field. They were bored out of there mind and frankly...so was I.

You're kidding yourself if you think the lack of run game is all on the OL. It ends very suddenly for 30+ year old running backs. If you can't clearly see the loss if his initial burst there's really no need to continue discussing. I know it hurts because he's been the classiest if this group of Stampeders but like Kelvin Anderson before him it's tough to admit the end of a great career.

I'm not saying its all on the o-line but I do think that has been a major factor. The biggest factor however is the lack of commitment to use him. He very well could be finished but imo they haven't given him much of a chance this year.

how can you say he lost a step when most of the time he rarely touch the ball. I will believe that theory if he is touching the ball more than 10 times and don't get as much. We have to admit that Reynolds and Bryant are the forgotten men in the offense.

So lets say he gets 6 carries and averages 2 yds/carry such as today. Pro-rate that to 15 carries and you have 30 yards. It's not enough especially when you are behind. With 3 down football how many 1 - 3 yard carries can you afford to give your running back until he finds his groove? Dickenson isn't a dummy and if he had confidence in Reynolds you would see more carries in the running game.

Cornish is getting the ball even less - and you can see he can make something happen.
He has lost a step, if he still had that step, he would be getting more touches. Cornish is a bull he has a initial burst, and he gets the yards, I think its time to involve Cornish a lot more in our gameplan and slowly phase Reynolds into the backup role.
