I elected to pick up my ticket package this year.
Are there prices printed on the tickets?
Did they include potential playoff tickets again?
Thanks.

Yes, but I forget if they put the prices on the playoff tickets though.

whats the point of the other tickets? Is it just so you can leave them in the book after you take out the real tickets. Kind of like a fake keep sake of the real tickets?

I assume it's because some people have 4 tickets in their package and it's easier to print them all in blocks of 4 and make 2 "not a ticket" than it is to print some books of 2 and some of 4.
You'd think it would be cheaper to print them all in pairs and just send two packages to those people with 4 tickets, but I'm not the decision maker.

Since they almost look identical to the real tickets, you could sell them to somebody really naive; test the honesty of friends - "hey did you see my tickets to the Jets' game around here?". The fun ways to use them are nearly endless.

Yeah printing them in blocks of four makes some sense. I figured maybe they wanted to give you some sort of ticket to keep in the book, but with how plain these tickets are I couldn't figure out why.

I was discussing that with my buddy, how some scalpers could possibly get some really drunk people before the game to buy the fake tickets. Yes it seems like a long shot that people would buy tickets out there that say "This is not a ticket" but I have meet a few people that wouldn't clue in until they bought the tickets.

Damn I still haven't gotten nothing in the mail or email (notifications/tracking number etc). I want to see what they look like and would like to have it in my possession, haha.

Are you guys new season ticket holders? If you guys are new, then your tickets will come sometime in sept. Last year was my first year as a season ticket holder and i didnt recieve mine until the second batch of tickets arrived. I think it was a week after the preseason started. I think you should call your ticket rep to make sure.

In my first season as a ticket holder I had to go to the office and pick them up. This year I feel all fancy and got them delivered to me.

So if they dont come until the pre-season started, how do I use the tickets for the pre-season?

^^^ Last year was my first as well, but I was able to pick them up well before pre-season. Granted, I had no idea that they weren't being mailed like the hothouse tickets were. Finally I asked the ticket rep, after I read everybody else had received theirs and she told me they were ready to pick up. Not sure if they would have ever contacted me to tell me they were ready though. You should just check, but the email I got suggested that if you opted to pick up your tickets they would notify you. If they were shipped directly to STH from the printer, you can expect it will take a while for the ticket office to sort through them all when they get the ones specified for pick up.

Terrible looking tickets. Agreed. If this is what you're printing, may as well go ticketless ie. electronic.
