Jo-Jo Reyes consistently up in the strike zone. Sound familiar? 7-0 Jays.

Henderson Alvarez looked very poise. I have no doubt that he'll be an elite starter if he can work on that 3rd pitch. I think at worst we have a closer here.

Joe West being Joe West and giving Andino another chance after flying out. Buck thinks Perez "fast pitched" him but still another weird call from Joe West.

Time to release shawn camp, horrible year, too old to rebound next season. Johnson makes this lineup pretty scary 1-9? What we lack (besides Joey Bats) in a true power guy in the 4+5 spot, we more than make up with in the strength of the overall lineup.

Now we just need to add pitching! I'm sadly only comfy with Romero. Morrow as a 4th, Cecil as a 5th (but who wants to pencil in a 5th). The entire bullpen except for Janssen can be recycled. Alvarez and L.Perez will need spring training to figure out if they are starters or 'pen (Alvarez sure looked like a starter last night).

He keeps this up at even half pace, we wont need to worry about upgrading Lind lol, we'll just slot him in at cleanup by mid season next year. Amazing start to a career.

Right now Lawrie should be hitting higher in the lineup like say 4th. They don't have any problem letting Thames hit 2nd, and he hasn't proven anything more than Lawrie has. I remember when Travis Snider first came up he hit extremely well, but he didn't display the power Lawrie has. Hopefully Lawrie is the real deal and can keep up the hitting. Even his defence has shown pretty good improvement, at worst he's certainly athletic enough to be a Left fielder.

Lawrie is an animal.

You can tell the guy eats sleeps and bleeds baseball.

Trading Marcum was worth it. My favorite Jays pitcher last year, but I was shocked when we got Lawrie in return.

Also Aaron Hill is tearing it up with the Dbacks. Congrats Aaron, bring the WS to Toronto.

That trade looks like it was great for both teams and players.

They were saying on TSN this morning that if you extrapolated Lawrie's numbers so far over a full season, it would be something like 44 HR and 125 RBI.

Heck of a start to a MLB career. Hopefully he can keep that kind of production up.

Derek Jeter rule applied on that Lind tag, of course.

Questioning Wakamatsu's managerial skills again.

Why take our Ricky when their is a LHB coming up who's 0-3 and looked terrible swinging against him? Why bring in Janssen who's struggled against Cano? He is our ace pitcher, the manager needs to have trust in his ace to get the guy out to kill a rally.

While I dont think he would keep up that pace for a whole year, he would likely still put up 25+ homeruns and 80+ RBI. (Maybe more) Either way they are awesome numbers for him at this point.

Lawrie was predicted to win ROTY by Baseball America, but his injury mid way through the year killed those chances.

ROTY should go to Pineda or Bourjous.

Bourjous is the third best rookie on his team after Walden & Trumbo no way. I could see Hosmer taking ROTY

Bourjas trails only Howie Kendrick in WAR, not to mention his spectacular gold glove caliber defense. Some of the best range I've seen in a long time.
