Sharks would like fellow GM's to consider the following players for the All-Star Game.

Rookies (since they are the sole bright spots now!)

D-man Shaone Morrisonn 7-10-17 -2 He is currently the highest ranked rookie defenseman (Yes, even ahead of the Phaneuf character!). His minus 2 is incredible as he is on the #1 defensive pairing, avereaging 22+ minutes a game, on a team that has been outscored by 59 goals in just 52 games.

RW Robert Nilsson 6-18-24 +2 Newly acquired, partly based on his suberb 1st half, the Magic Man's son has played very well at both ends of the ice.

LW Petr Vrana 12-9-21 0 Also newly acquired, Vrana is 4th in Goals Scored amongst all rookies.

Defenseman
Steve Staios 3-11-14 -8 Staios has been a rock for the Sharks since being acquired. He is the #1 Defenseman, logging 25+ min a game. He playes on the PK as well and has been a vital part of the improved defensive play over the last 15 games or so.

Good numbers for a LW on what is not a very talented Devils team. The old dog has played very well.

Rookie game.
Is there a better rookie goalie in the CPHL than Mike Morrison? Check out these numbers

Very good stats for a rookie goalie, especially when you consider what our defence is like.

Wild have sent there's in but some of the rookie categories were VERY hard to find enough players for.

Senators are now done. It was the rookies that was the hold up.

But we found a way to make it work. Some trades also helped a bit as some guys moved to the conference I was looking to fill up.
