Sinead O'Connor puts up a very personal ad on her website

The woman has never seemed like the most stable of personalities, and she's not the hottie she was 20 years ago, but this is still pretty funny stuff, especially coming from a celebrity.http://www.sinead-oconnor.com/home/i...d-on-a-manhunt

I recently read of a woman in America who married and regularly humps her truck. I don't yet own a truck but I'm beginning to understand her head space. And am worried I too may be so desperate for sex that within days I might run up the road and hump Bray Cab's whole fleet in one hour. | |

I think that's pretty awesome, good for her for having a bit of fun.
Best of luck Sinead, here's hoping there's a Willy at the end of your Rainbow.

Wow, now I see why she felt the need to post a personal ad!

Meh. I don't care if she looks like Roy Orbison (and the pudgy Roy Orbison at that)... I absolutely love her music, love her attitude, and in this case, love her sense of humour. She absolutely never was the cookie cutter celebrity type.
It's weird. Celebrities can do drugs, sleep around, etc... but there still seems to a code that they are supposed to live by. There is a box they are not supposed to step out of. Sinead never, ever stayed within that box and suffered for it.

It's good that she's having some fun.... and showing she's not always the ultra-serious person most take her for.

While not the looker she was in the 80's, she still has one of the sexiest voices around. This is from June (two months ago):

She was on George Strombo's show a while ago. It was pretty interesting to hear how her views changed from back in the 1990s.

Sad that she was largely black-balled in the industry after her SNL appearance where she ripped up the pope's picture, yet she was dead on correct about the church in Ireland.
Maybe if someone had apologized to her after all these years, she may look more cheerful today.

			(1) Not saying either way.(2) I do find it depressing how much people put into "looks". As per the weight loss thread, I was about 350 pounds and had a hard time getting dates. Now that I've taken off the weight I'm having a much easier time "connecting". But I'm still the same guy. And when I consider starting a serious relationship with a woman, I sit and ask myself if this person would have WANTED a serious relationship with me when I was the 350 pound slob. It does bother me how shallow people are.
 (3) If we want to talk about physical attraction, I don't care about the weight, the haircut or the glasses.... it's the big nasty tattoos she has covered herself with that I don't like. Different strokes.

That's a pretty awful picture, but looking at the video Advocate posted, she doesn't look that bad.

Just because girls weren't interested in you when you were grossly overweight doesn't make them shallow.
I'll tell you who's shallow... The girls that weren't interested in me when I was a smoker.

She looks like a 44 year-old woman. I think the harsh judgement comes from the fact that we haven't seen her in so long, and she was such a stone-cold fox when she was about 25.

People look at me now and see a broken shell of a man, barely able to keep his head up, but 20 years ago I was an adorable baby boy without a tooth in my head or a tear-drop tattoo on my face. People age.

			I think she's fantastic
It's obvious her marriage to Steve Cooney took a tool on her physical appearance but it's good to see that her sense of humour is as strong as ever.
