Calvillo is actually going after LB Brandon Isaac way too much today with success. Morley might need to help Isaac out.

stamps are still going to make this a game...and likely win.

Horrible plays on both sides of the ball at times, but when you play like that and trail by only a TD at half, pride kicks in....things are getting kicked around in that locker room right now and they have looked like nothing they have recently...i like their chances.

Stamps getting manhandled in the trenches. OL and DL have been outclassed. That has to change in the 2nd half.

After the First Half, Alouettes 18 Stampeders 11.

Offense started off slow while Calvillo's offense scored 10 points in the first quarter. We still have a half a game to win this game so I am not really scared yet. Remember Stampeders defense tends to make some good adjustments in the 2nd half all the time and Burris also start picking up in the 2nd half as well.

Adjustment to make for offense. Stop going for a long ball all the time. I guess 90% of Burris passes today are long balls. Burris needs to be conservative at times such as throwing short passes a few times then long balls. Also mix it up with some running at times. Oline needs to tighten up a little bit more but I can't really blame them all game for giving up pressure on Burris. Als secondary are doing a heck of a good job zeroing in on Calgary's receivers.

On Defense, Calvillo is going after LB Brandon Isaac so much matching up against Jamal Richardson. Isaac is one of my favorite Stamps this year but it is not fair for him to go after one of the best slotback in the CFL all game. Chris Jones needs to put someone else against Richardson or have the safety (Morley/Fraser) cheat more and try to help Isaac on Richardson's coverage. Defense also needs to go after Calvillo. It doesn't have to be a QB sack but putting pressure on the guy all night and also doing some safety blitz might help Calvillo think. He is one of the best or the best QB in the CFL and giving him lots of time in the pocket will kill any team.

Special Teams, no complain so far. Dales are doing good with punting. Maybe Taylor should get more good blocking.

Really it comes down to playing a mistake free 2nd half. Already too many penalties on the opening drive here but they can't give AC 2nd chances or bonus yards with stupid penalties. The game is well within reach.

Burris sure checks out mentally from play to play or so it would seem. Lets go D the O needs some help.

I like that possession even though they only scored 3 points. Burris was conservative throwing short passes and Burris running the ball once. The only bad thing was the 2 illegal procedure penalties by Tony Washington. I noticed Myddleton was on the line instead of Tsoumpas. Did he get hurt?

D did the job. Now lets just move the ball 6-10 yds at a time.
