To each his own and I often give credit when due however the video had a Blair witch shake and the pictures aren't great. Professional photographer is a must with that view. Neat idea on the video, just needs to be cleaned up.

I think it's a genius idea utilizing Youtube for this purpose. I don't think a professional photographer needs to take the photo's but instead just something slightly better than a camera phone, and maybe a more comprehensive look in to the house. I like the idea though, and this way you can have a better look into potential homes from the comfort of your own.

Thanks jydk! I think the idea was to generate some interest. If intrigued, then consider taking an in-person link.

As far as the views from the house go, it's really difficult to capture the panormic scenery - you gotta see it!

Update Part 2:
Apparently buyer-to-be didn't answer Jery Maguire's request to "Show Me The Money!".
Bottom line: Financing fell through and thus after a week, the above house is back on the market!

Why wouldnt you ensure the buyer was at least qualified prior to accepting an offer (and taking off the market thus missing possible buyers for the said week)
When I say you I more so mean the buyers realtor and to some extent your friends.
Either way, nobody enjoys when that happens. Good luck!

The story is a very frustrating one, making the sellers more pi$$ed off than you can imagine (or maybe you can!).
The buyer's real estate agent had assurances from the mortgage broker they were dealing with that the buyer had approval. Apparently, in the mean-time something wasn't quite right with the info she provided and the institution wanted a higher down payment from her, which she could not afford.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening in the future. As you said, losing a week on the market (along with 2 cancelled open houses) is almost as detrimental as losing out on the deal itself!
