We've done the same thing each year. You can also go with aluminum (tradional US), or diamond (modern US).
I went for some nice diamond earrings for our 10th, my wife loves them.

Knight suit. nothing says I love you like a knight suit! Or give her a can of beans and take her horseback riding for the weekend! People seem pretty impressed with the gift idea on my part but since it is the big 10 as well you should probably get some diamonds involved as well

Get a night in banff or a quick weekend getaway somewhere and put the tickets/certificate in a tin box. Screw diamonds, they are a created super inflated market. But you know your wife better than I do.

we just had our 10th anniversary about a month ago. we came out to calgary and had a blast.
everything was great... then there was the drive home.... let's just say that our 10 year anniversary trip ended with a bang!
