just played the demo.

actually feels like a pretty good game thus far, with the hitting and puck physics making a definite improvement on the flow of the game.

i had trouble finding it also, i was up early for the gym/work, so happened to be online a bit after the demo became available, but it took me like 10 mins, and 3 restarts before i actually saw it in hte "new release" section of the game market (under games and demos).

Hate to be a cynic, but if it's anything like last year we better enjoy the next few weeks as the demo will be the best part of the game.

any thoughts on the demo thus far?

I think the subtle changes are a definite improvement over last year, and make for a better game.

The delta, unfortunately, may still be small enough to bring the question of "is it worth $60 for what appears to be a patch" to be brought.

That's because the demo is the time when scrub players don't find ways to abuse the AI or the game mechanics.

Demo is out for PS3. Just search for NHL 12, as it is not in any of the PSN menus yet.

Perhaps, but as an offline player exclusively I can say that the final product was heavily underwhelming considering the excitement I had playing the demo last August/September.

Yeah the demo HUT is waay better than the full game (at least for 11 it was). Nice playing with a good team right away!
Anyone run the goalie yet? I have after the whistle but not much happens..
