Default Baby momma gifts?

Why did no one tell me that you are supposed to give your wife a gift for having your baby? She is due next month and I'm clueless about these things. I already gave her a gift 8 months ago - hey oh!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

These gift requirements are getting idiotic. I didn't give my wife anything, and she doesn't seem to mind.

I suppose I let her name our kid; that's pretty big, I guess.

Change 50% of the diapers and don't call it babysitting.

Give her full time hours at work, starting immediately after the delivery.

Tipping and gifting are getting out of hand.

Just promise to pay the child support on time and she'll be thrilled

The best gift would be to do your share of helping out with the new baby.

Be there for the delivery, be supportive, if possible take some time off after the baby comes and help out any way you can (rocking the baby in the middle of the night, changing diapers, etc., as well as cooking and cleaning). That's way better than buying a gift. I didn't get my wife anything and don't know anyone else who did either.

Because you're not supposed to.

My wife's cousin was given a diamond ring (not an engagement ring, they were already married)... so I can only presume she'll be looking for something similar to brag about when our time comes.

Ugh.

WHAT!!!???

Then I want a present!

I don't care if it's 28 months after the fact.

I got my wife a necklace with our sons birthstone in it. She absolutely loved it. Up to you, if you can afford it why not?

Troy Shoppe Jewelers in Bridgeland helped me out.

Icon just tell her you wanted a kid of the other gender but you didn't get it, so you can both be disappointed together.

Ah yes, the push prize.

I have gone with either jewelry or art.

Upon reflection, art is the better choice. Get an original piece if you can.

Another dishwasher, since the current one will now be occupied.

My Wife thought the idea of a Push Present was ######ed. Although, she did say that this years Birthday and Anniversary presents better be good.

There is something about this whole "push present" trend that annoys me.

We had our first a couple of weeks ago and I gave my wife a locket... just made sense to me.
