Thoughts? We are doing (as I mentioned) Europe next month, so we'll do some fine dining there. In Vegas we're looking for good value, middle-of-the road price-point food for dinners, lunches, etc?
What are good buffets? you always hear about Vegas buffets, what are some to check out?

There is a small cafe called Pizza Place in the Wynn that serves a delicious meatball submarine sandwich and fries for about $10. You can eat outside by a waterfall and it's the only place I've found that has free wifi. It was so good the first time I went back the next day for another.

Burgers:
There is a restaurant called BLT Burger in The Mirage...great "middle-of-the-road" burger place. Pretty good stuff.
Also, Carnegie Deli in the Mirage has awesome and huuuuuuge burgers and sandwiches. Borderline deli/fast food.
Italian:
I have only been to Dal Toro Ristorante which is in the Venetian. It's traditonal Italian cuisine and is considered casual dining. Affordable. I'm assuming there are a a few more places in the Venetian or Caesar's that would have good Italian food.
Sushi:
I saw a place called, Koi in Planet Hollywood when I stayed there although I didn't eat there. I'm pretty sure almost every hotel has sushi place. Just ask the concierge where a good one is. He or she will probably refer you to a restaurant/hotel that is sister to the hotel you're staying in.

Blondie's in Miracle Mile has beer pong and all you can drink specials plus they're even closer to Aria than O'Sheas.

I enjoyed BLT Burger. I'll have to admit because I was disappointed as I had two different people tell me they had the best burger they've ever had. It was still pretty good.
I prefer to go to Cheesburger Paradise in the Miracle Mile Mall (at PH).
I've also enjoyed Kahunaville at TI, but probably my 3rd choice of the 3 places I've mentioned.
For breakfast I'll actually go to Denny's. Yes Denny's. You can't ever get me to go to Denny's in Lethbridge. Never ever. But it wasn't too bad on the strip. There is one at Casino Royale and one a block or so north of MGM Grande... in the same building as Hard Rock Cafe.

I've always had pizza at Sirrico's Pizza in NYNY (in the Quick Bites area). Although I see they now have New York Pizzeria. I don't recall this when I was last there, so I'm not sure if NYP replaced Sirrico's or if they both co-exist at NYNY.

One recommendation I could give is to get either a full day pass or a 3 day tranist pass. The Deuce (2) will take you up and down the strip and from there you can take another bus to the Premium Outlet Mall for shopping. It is $5 one way with a two hour limit or $7 for a 24 hour pass. 3 days is $20 IIRC. So depending on what you are doing, I recemmond this option. Walking is great though but it does get tiring after a while, especially during the summer heat.
Edit: I forgot to mention to sign up for the VIP club for the Premium Outlets to get additional deals. Generally there isn't much more savings on top of what you get but that obviously depends on what you are looking for.

Oh good. I haven't been to Vegas for almost 2 years now, but when I go I would go to Sirrico's a lot. Cheap, quick and tasty. On the last trip, one of the girls who worked there remembered me and my wife from before.

was just in vegas last weekend and we ended up staying at venetian (best hotel to stay at) and had expecting it to be pretty dead as a friend had mentioned and not alot of people spending money. WOW, was she wrong. it was just packed everywhere we went, it did not look like the economy was affecting spending down there and we got hooked up with a vip company down there to get us in tao, marquee and haze and ditch friday pool party. if we hadnt done the vip hosting, we wouldve been lucky to get into the clubs in less than a few hours! the shopping there was nothing special at all as nothing i saw was on sale and the premium outlets were junk although my buddy did pick up a nice aquaracer tag watch for only $3k (retailed for $6500) imo, vegas is still vegas and is expensive as what i remembered.

One tip if you want to go to the north outlet mall is to take the Centennial Express from the Fashion Show Mall. It leaves once every hour and takes you a whopping four minutes to get to the mall since it takes the Freeway and it is also only $2 each way instead of $5 if you take the Express bus on the strip. Bus was dead both ways as it looks like it used only by locals in Vegas.

Free WiFi is also available at the Sports Book at the Wynn. I also got free WiFi in the Wynn by standing in line to get Le Reve tickets.

I'm thinking if your looking for $3000 watches, the outlet malls may not be the place for your shopping needs. My wife and I went nuts in the IZOD store buying golf clothes, most was 80% off, that is my fav store in that mall. Bought clothes at lots of other stores to, Quicksilver, Fox, Van Husen and the Ashworth store, some stuff not so cheap but all nice IMO. Also got lucky at the Ecco store and we each got new golf shoes, hers were $60 and mine were $110, about 1/3 the price you'd pay here.
The second last time we were there I found the shopping to be awful, bought one pair of shoes, that was it. I guess it's all a matter of timing. Also got some knock off Sham Wows, watched his presentation for a good 10 mins so I figured I owed it to him, that and the fact that the more crap I buy, the quicker the wife moves through the mall, got a massage outside the dress barn one time to while waiting, no happy ending but felt good none the less.

I saw it posted a while back but does anyone have the website that literally grabs every single airline and the lowest fares?
Thanks

Has anyone partied at Rok Vegas in NYNY, the girls I am going with think bottle service would be fun here and the price isn't to shabby. Also are the rides on the stratosphere worth the trip down the strip???

Rok is ok, but not one of the "popular" clubs right now. Any club in vegas is decent as long as it is busy though.
As for the rides I had fun, but they can have a long wait to get on at times.
