The Jesse Ventura appearance on the latest Sklarbro was awesome. I wish I could do an impersonation as I just want to use the ever questioning "why do you think that I should be honored to be here?" kind of thing. I listened to it twice and laughed both times!

Why should I think the Ventura appearance was awesome?
Why should you do impersonations?

If it is anything like Vinyl Cafe, I think I will pass on that:
"Well, Uncle Morty cooked the Christmas Turkey this year, but he cooked it too long, and it was a little dry [hilarious canned laughter]. Now, let's hear some crappy folk music".

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I like to listen to podcasts while doing laps at the public pool.... Real Time probably isn't the best thing to listen to while swimming as I can't help but laugh out loud at the great stuff that comes out on that show.
I put in a complaint to iTunes customer support about the podcast, registered a problem with the podcast via iTunes, and wrote a letter to HBO public relations. Those things probably had nothing to do with them fixing the links, but I'm just going to assume that they did since it makes me feel important.

I just discovered WTF with Marc Maron... I am not a huge fan of Maron as a comedian, but as a host he really gets his guests to open up. Mostly because the guests are comedians and stuff... but the few I've listened to are great.
Highly recommend the Joe Rogan, Henry Rollins, and Conan O'Brien shows.
Also... DNTO is always a great choice.

My newest discovery is the Star Talk podcast with Neil deGrasse Tyson. The latest episode with Phil Plait where they discuss bad science in movies is great.

thanks for this, MMF. His last two, with 85 year old Jonathan Winters and George Carlin's widow Sally Wade are fantastic.

Mike and Tom Eat Snacks is currently my favorite. Essentially they sit down once a week and spend about 30 minutes debating the merits of a particular snack food. I find it hilarious.

Once I saw this thread bumped I had to go back and find the person who recommended This American Life, I cannot thank you enough. I love this program, it is easily my current favorite means of entertainment, ahead of books, TV, and movies.

Anyone listening to Jay Mohr's 'Mohr Stories' on Smodcast? I listen to a lot of podcasts and Jay's is consistently hilarious. Check it out.
