Default FS:Popcorn hour C-200 Media Player

Hi,

If you are looking at this ad then you know that this is one of the best media players in the world. I am selling this only because it is not capable of playing full 1080p 3D movies. I am going to go back and build a HTPC for this purpose. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the machine at all. This machine can be used as a bluray play (bluray rom need) as well as a network device.

Hmm aren't these 299 new? Also, as far as I know they are indeed capable of playing full HD 3d movies on their latest firmware.

Hi there,

$299 is the US price (if you purchase it from directly from them, you still have to consider shipping/dutie/tax/brokerage fees). It costs $379.99 before tax and shipping from onlybestrated Canada, which is where I got it from. The latest firmware only allows 720p 3D materials. You will need HDMI 1.4 to play full HD 3D, hence why I need to build a HTPC for it.

Damn that's strange about the pricing esp considering our dollar is stronger - but now the price makes sense, thanks!

As for the 3d stuff, they added hdmi 1.4 support back in march, so you shouldn't have a problem.

yep, but the hardware stayed at 1.3 HDMI. In order to play Full HD 3D, the hardware needs to be 1.4. It can only output realD 3D with 720p via mkv or something.
