I just found out you can order Vans online so I'll probably pick up another pair or two, although I hate buying shoes without trying them on first. If anybody sees any size 14 skate shoes out there please let me know.
*facepalm

To the OP, if you've got the cash, custom shoes are a definite option for you. As for dress shoes, Aldens go up to size 18, I believe.

I wore 12's for a while to compensate for wide feet. I figured I had big feet.

I mean, all my girlfriends and conquests told me I had big feet, my wife told me I have big feet... What reason would they have to lie to me? Women never embelish, do they?

Now, I wear a 10.5EEE. Turns out that shoes fit better when they're the correct width. Who knew? They're wide but their length is well... average.

Wut?

I have a hard enough time finding 14's, I can't imagine looking for 17's.

Don't worry. Maybe one day you'll be a big boy and then you can wear big boy shoes too!

I think it has more to do with the fact that people with big feet are more prone to post in a big shoe thread. I would assume that the average foot size of posters in this thread is significantly larger than the average foot size of posters on this board.

Just a guess.

I'm 6'4" and a 14, but it really depends on shoes. I find dress shoes i can fit into a 12, so not so much an issue. but skate shoes i need at least a 13 if not bigger. West49 usually has 13-14's that are on sale, since they are the hardest to sell. I've picked some up in the past for 40-60% off. I always go in and check their sale stuff to see what they have.

I guess I learned that joking around with guys with big feet doesn't work because big shoes are serious business.

My feet are so painfully average in size that the shoes always seem to be sold out. Also, when I rent bowling shoes, the shoes I get are probably worn 10000x more than the size 14 ones. Why do they make you rent bowling shoes anyway? Does it really matter?

We joke around with each other, at our secret meetings, at our supermodel clubs.

I'm 6'6", but I betcha' no body would notice my feet if I were standing next to them. Proportionately, they look totally normal on me. It's when my shoes are sitting next to other shoes at a front door, when someone takes notice.

Tuxedo tracked down a pair of Bauer 16s about 12 years ago, actually.

Know of a place in town? I've heard that Alberta Boot Company makes custom boots, but a quick glance at their website told me to expect ~$1000!

I know this is kind of off topic, but I have a terrible time finding shoes in stock that fit me due to my wide feet and the style of shoes I want. Anyone have a good website that ships shoes to Canada?

Whereabouts?

I've found Friedman's in Atlanta. And another retail outfit in Chicago, but the name escapes me at the moment.

http://www.2bigfeet.com
http://largefeet.com/index.php

And as I mentioned in my first post, there's a New Balance store in Crowfoot Crossing that will order for you at a nominal cost. They don't just carry sport shoes; New Balance owns Dunham.
