Maybe not now, but what about in the 70s when the film was set? Also, all the characters riding that bus are either musicians or huge music fans, so everyone knowing the words didn't stretch believability for me.

How about the scene when the Hanson Brothers first take to the ice for the Chiefs!

Speaking of some of the greatest movie moments in movie history, here is a list of the top 100 nude scenes in movie history.
Sorry it's in slideshow format, but it doesn't have to load a different page for each slide at least.

Thought Winslet in Titanic, and Richards in Wild Things would be higher.

I might we might be in the minority on this just because of the music we listen to, but anytime Tiny Dancer comes on around me and my group of friends (all early to mid 20's) we are all belting it at the top of our lungs. Granted, some of them probably only know the song because of this movie, but from my experience most people of my generation know all the words to this song. Or at least enough to get by.

BlackEleven - excellent choice. That stoning scene just kills me every time I see it.

Me too. The first time I saw it I was literally in tears. I just wish they would have just started that clip a little bit earlier so we could see them purchasing the stones. That bit it is gold too.

Expecting someone to pick just
one scene from Slapshot is unfair. But here's my vote:

I can't find the full clip on Youtube, but Al Pacino in ...And Justice For All with his opening statement.

I love this scene so much. Is this Spielberg's most under-rated film?
[Edit]
This is my other favourite scene:

My favorite monologue in a film is by Tom Wilkinson, from the opening of Michael Clayton.
