Online Specualation is Henderson Alvarez is going to be called up he will take Carlos V spot in the rotation.

Alvarez has pretty filthy stuff, kinda surprised he is coming straight to the majors at 21 after just half a season in AA though.

Joe Maddon drives me nuts with his two or three little hissy fits every game when the Jays play Tampa.

This game's going down to the wire. Shame Rauch didn't save it. Gonna be a nail-biter.

Molina triples in the top of the 11th, two run's score. 6-4 Jays.

Can the Jays close it out..... ?

Oh man, Rays have tied it up...

Have no clue why Farrell brought Rauch out for the 11th. Really really sad Relief effort.

EDIT;

Camp is pitching runners at 2nd and 3rd with 2 out....

Jays intentionally Walk Damon... to pitch to Longaria...

Oh wow tied game bases juiced 2 out what a battle. I am only looking on gamecast so not sure if it is bad pitching or good hitting for both teams!

Hopefully evan can get his rhythm back. Can you imagine a year ago a pitcher intentially walking someone to face him

update

Upton with a 1 out triple could this be the end? Kotchman and joyce have been walked intentionally to set up Double play

Johnson strike out 2 away

Chirinos single ends the game Rays win!

Don't see this every day....

Jose Molina triples (1) on a fly ball to center fielder B. Upton. Edwin Encarnacion scores. Travis Snider scores.

Wow......I am surprised to see Snider demoted... I thought E5 would get DFA'd.

For Snider's sake, I hope the guy is traded in the off season.

Jays clearly show zero confidence in the guy. Thames is in the same slump as Snider.

That was agonizing to watch. Rauch was seriously awful, and I agree it was surprising to see him start another inning after giving up the solo HR. Jays had every reason to win that game, and the bullpen blows another one.

Congratulations to Brett Lawrie!

He becomes the 12th player from the British Columbia Premier Baseball League to play major league baseball (eight this season).

Justin Morneau (North Delta Blue Jays)
Ryan Dempster (North Shore Twins)
Jeff Francis (North Delta Blue Jays)
Rich Harden (Victoria Mariners)
Michael Saunders (Victoria Mariners)
Rene Tosoni (Coquitlam Reds)
Scott Mathieson (Langley Blaze)
Brett Lawrie (Langley Blaze)

Next up is undoubtedly Taylor Green, Nashville Sounds (AAA), Milwaukee (Parksville Royals).

Give Snider a month in AAA before recalling him with expanded rosters in Sept. When he's hitting hes a decent hitter, when he's 'off' like he is now, he amounts to free outs.

So is Bautista headed back to RF everyday now with Lawrie's arrival ?

Personally I hate the decision, AA made a really brutual call.

He keeps E5 for nothing more than a chance to get a draft pick over developing a young player.

AAA is going to do nothing for Snider.

EDIT; not to mention after this season Snider is out of options.
