I would like to see them on the field at same time. Two RB sets, one set out wide etc.

Z. Miller leaving is bittersweet

I don't think he is the right fit for a power running team, he isn't a great blocker at all

but he is probly right below Witten in terms of being a great pass catching TE (Gates is on a complete other level)

Hoping for Kevin Boss, he's a good pass catcher and a great run blocker

For years, since Staley left I have been praying for a big physical back. Very nice addition to McCoy. Eagles really loading up. Need to sort out the O line though.

Eagles toyed with the wildcat a couple of seasons ago so they might have something in mind with Brown coming in. Throw Young in the mix as well, some very talented athletes out on the field.

LB is a concern. I know they want to get faster and more agressive but Matthews is a little small to man the middle I think.

Getting Watkins signed was huge. The interior will be downright nasty if Jackson can stay healthy. RT is the big question mark. Hopefully Justic comes back strong from his surgery or Dunlap continues to progress. Wouldn't have minded the team making a run at Jared Gaither in free agency.

Pats looking at former Bears DL Tommie Harris.

Haynesworth has looked solid at Training Camp, first conference suggested he was looking for redemption.
Time will tell.

Pats also resigned Matt Light to a 2 year deal today

Guess we don't need to worry about the RT spot anymore. Eagles sign Ryan Harris.

90% of the cap, so $108M this year.

So the Bengals have to spend 30 million more as they are 42 million under the cap?

I thought the cap floor didn't come in to effect until 2013 though?

Just finished watching Sharpe Focus: The Road to Canton on NFL Network.

Shannon Sharpe is a unique individual. I am looking forward to his induction very, very much.

Kleenex may be required.

A great TE if ever there was one. Gave his brother Sterling his first SB ring because of Sterlings career ending neck injury.

I just wish his brother hadn't suffered that injury as he to would have no doubt been a first ballot inductee into Canton had his career not been cut short.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Mike Patterson dropped to the ground and went into convulsions before the start of drills today at Eagles training camp, according to eyewitness accounts such as this one from philly.com:
Quote:
Head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder quickly moved to stabilize Patterson's neck and clear his airway. Patterson was moving his arms, but never got off the turf, as teammates gathered around and an ambulance was summoned. Patterson eventually was loaded into the ambulance on the field, and presumably taken to Lehigh Valley Medical Center.

Packer fans rejoice...look like Jermichael Finley is back and better than ever.

Cool clip here of him catching two balls within a second of one another after a screw up by the QB's in drills.

Also tweeted this in reponse to all the hype the iggles have been getting of late.

A healthy Jackson is huge, someone that big over center is a big advantage. The Harris signing is a good one. We do have some depth at tackle especially if Justice comes off of the PUP list. Howard and Dunlap have both started here and there.

Could be a very interesting year. I just turned down tickets to the Thursday game in Seattle but I think I might have to rethink that decision...
