He is a thug and a dooshbag....but beyond that nothing i guess.
multiple domestic "disturbance" issues....been sued about 6 times for various reasons but all had one thing in common, that being he is a jerk of massive proportions....and then walking into a nightclub in sweatpants with a glock in his waistband....but sure its all about Bloomberg trying to make a name for himself like no one knew who he was previously.
Yeah...a real sympathetic figure no doubt.

To Richard Malin, Plaxico Burress wasn't a customer, he was an ordeal.
It was 2002 when Burress, then playing for the Steelers, hired Malin, a home inspector, to look over a house he was buying in suburban Pittsburgh.
Malin quoted Burress a price of just under $500 and got the job
He should've turned it down, Malin now says.
When it came time to pay the bill, Burress disappeared. He didn't respond to phone calls or letters. Malin appealed to one of the star's handlers for help, but still no payment. Malin filed a lawsuit, Burress ignored it.
After a judge ruled against the no-show NFL player, he sent Malin a check for $700.
"I got a note from Plaxico saying, 'Sorry for the inconvenience. Please inform the court that the judgment has been paid,' " Malin said.
"Then the check bounced."

Colts re-signed Joseph Addai and OT Ryan Diem took a paycut to sign a 1 year deal.
Also, Colts released veteran corner Kelvin Hayden.

Hmm, I always liked Hayden, but maybe they think Lacey and Powers are good enough

All questions of Da’Quan Bowers' health seem to have been answered. He has had no issues in the first two full speed practices of camp or during the walkthrough. If he can stay healthy he will have been an absolute steal at the 51st pick. With him on the left side, Adrian Clayborne on the right and a healthy Gerald McCoy the Bucs D-line is starting to look pretty good.

Cardinals sign Todd Heap....nice pickup for them. If Kolb can reach anything near the potential he has upon him ...they have some other nice pieces around and should challenge for that division at the very least.

The making a name for himself was about the DA not about Bloomberg.

I try not to make judgements on people's character based on one one-sided article. The Giants thought highly enough of his character to pursue him, so did the Steelers. Something tells me they know a bit more about him then we do. The fact is if you or I had done the same crime as him, we would have seen little to no jail time. His past of domestic disturbances is one report, where his wife slapped him and he grabbed her arm. You make it sound like he is a known women beater. While his conduct was inappropriate, there's a reason no charges were filed.

Seriously? The guy who had been Manhattan DA for over 3 decades? Yeah, he really needed to make a name for himself. That whole being in charge of the most high profile county in the country for 30+ years thing just wasn't cutting it, and prosecuting Mark David Chapman totally didn't get his name in the papers. I mean he only won his final election after receiving the nomination of the democratic, republican and working family parties and garnering over 99% of the vote. Totally used Burress to elevate his profile

I thought Vance was the DA I misremembered. However, Morganthau hand picked Vance as his successor and what he did reflected on Vance.

Morgenthau was the DA at the time. Vance has been nothing short of a disaster, but the Burress case had much more to do with the incredibly strict gun laws in New York than it did with his celebrity.
Btw, apparently he wasn't wearing sweatpants, that's just a rumor that took hold as fact. Totally makes picturing the scene less hilarious though so I'm pretending I never learned that.
I cant decide what to think about Plax. I'm an MSU alum, so I back him to a point, but I'm also a Dolphins fan so putting on a Jets jersey kid of washes that out. I think I'll silently hate him, as opposed to vocally hating the rest of the team (except Sanchez, who from accounts of friends is actually a pretty decent dude, I still want him to get hit though).

Will always remember his pick 6 in the Superbowl to put that victory to bed for the Colts. Contract was just too much and the Colts don't have much room to begin with.

Havent heard too much about him in particular. High energy and tempo as Carroll likes. Seattle hasnt taken anyone in the secondary in free agency yet. With the moves Carroll is making Browner better show from the start.
The heart of of the defense in Tatupu was cut today after refusing to restructure. Being a small ILB he took his punishment, and last couple years he's always got something nagging. His knees are bad and he's been knocked around good (concussion the last playoff game) nut always toughed it out. Leaves big shoes for Hawthorn to fill as he moves inside. Curry better smarten up and use his size and ability or he wont last another year.
Seattle definatley has some defensive issues at this point

Baltimore has signed Vonta Leach to a three year deal worth $11 Million. Nice little pick up for them.

The Broncos have signed TEs Dante Rosario and Daniel Fells. Still think one of the rookies will be the starter next year.
Looks like Orton is going to be the guy unless some team loses a QB in camp.

Wonderful, looks like it's going to be Randy Moss that goes through the will he/won't he retire crap this year. Was really wishing we could avoid that this year.
