Kolb has a career 73qb rating and more interceptions than td's
I dono why he is such a hot commodity, he may very well be good but so far he has been average
to give up a pro bowl cb and a 2nd round pick is nuts in my opinion

i agree....the guy has done little to nothing on the field to draw that kind of interest from clubs. That being said at least he does have some experience and Andy Reid has a penchant for finding decent to great QB's. It all just goes to show you however, how hard it is to find a really good QB in the NFL anymore....there are the elite ones, then a few second tier guys and then a whole collection of "meh" type guys.
If I had my choice and was a Cardinal fan i would hope that the Cards go after Orton instead and save moving DRC at all.

I still think that's a little high, its not like Kolb was a #1 overall pick or anything. Or that he's even played a full season as a starter. If I were the Cards I'd want something else coming back too, like a mid to late round pick perhaps.

The Hartford Courant has reported that Temple University twins Eli and Peanut Joseph have signed deals with the Packers.
Peanut is a 6-1, 243-pound inside linebacker who was second on the team in tackles last year and bench-pressed 225 pounds an impressive 31 times. The 6-2, 290-pound Eli is a nose tackle who did an amazing 43 reps on the bench press during his pro day.

McNabb being dealt to the Vikes certainly makes them more interesting this year...he may be running for his life mind you when facing that Lion front 4, the Packers 3-4 and Urlacher and gang from the Bears.

I can't believe the return being thrown around for Kolb. Insanity.
Orton's proven he can play and give him a few tools and he might actually take you somewhere.
The Dolphins are going to steal him.

Agreed. Going into this whole thing I valued Kolb somewhat similarly to Matt Schaub back in '07 when the Texans pried him out of Atlanta (though I'd give Kolb slightly higher value based on he was a 1st round pick, as opposed to a 3rd for Schaub).
I figured a 1st round pick straight up for Kolb would be plenty, and when I started hearing rumours of DRC straight up for Kolb I even thought that was getting a little iffy, thats a 25 year old Pro Bowl CB. But still within the wheelhouse, as after all, QB's are worth more than CB's. But DRC and a 1st?? It's Kevin Kolb, not Sam Bradford.

Oh that's right, I got it confused because I just remember he was your first pick of that draft, forgot you traded your first rounder that year.
EDIT: Ya just looking at your '07 draft, 36th over-all. Meh, close enough haha. On a side note, didn't realize Celek went in the 5th round that year, steal.

Well if Rex Grossman is the man, they better be pretty good pass defenders and tacklers.

Reggie Bush could be a Dolphin as soon as tomorrow, per Jay Glazer on twitter:
"I'm reporting Saints & Fins have worked out terms of a trade for RB Reggie Bush, contingent on Bush agreeing new contract".
Apparently GM Jeff Ireland has spent most of the night working on the trade, but has decided to sleep on the terms and make a decision tomorrow morning. That means I'm basically checking twitter every 2.5sec tomorrow until its done.

Not sure what to think of this deal. A motivated AH would be an awesome pick up for a 5th rounder. Im sure BB can get him in shape and with him and Wilfork that can do nothing buthelp the D Line. It is the right kind of Df for the big guy.
Now about that sexual assault case in Aug.

I'm not defending Rex because he's a Gator but the guy is a gun slinger and if he gets a good coach to pull back the arm he could be a serviceable qb. I rather have him than Tavaris Jackson

leave it to minnesota vikings punter chris kluwe to insert some humor into what has been a tense day for his organization.
Kluwe has worn no. 5 for the vikings since his 2005 arrival. Upon the news that quarterback donovan mcnabb had agreed to a trade that would send him to the vikings, kluwe immediately placed a price (via twitter) on the number mcnabb has worn his entire career. so here's the deal. If mcnabb comes and wants 5, it's his, but he has to promise to mention tripping icarus in at least 5 press conferences.
who (or what) is tripping icarus? Naturally, it's a minneapolis-based alternative rock band. Kluwe is the bassist.
Let's see whether mcnabb shares in the humor.
What number will kluwe take? No. 4 would work, he tweeted, because "pi is not an option."
