The Washington Redskins answered one of their biggest free agency questions Tuesday by agreeing to terms of a contract extension with Santana Moss, their reigning top receiver.
The sides settled on a three-year, $15 million deal that includes $6 million guaranteed, according to an ESPN report. A source with knowledge of the deal confirmed the agreement and the terms.

Mark Sanchez said he is willing to redo his deal if it means bringing in players required to win. I hope this guy makes another 12-15 pt. jump in qb rating this year. Or he could play to his playoff 95 qb rating. He's a born leader now he just has to put everything else together.

The league office has informed PFT that teams can visit with their own free agents right now, but not with free agents who didn’t play for them in 2010.
That means there is, in fact, a benefit for current teams who want to keep their own free agents: There isn’t the exclusive window for teams wanting to sign their own players that had been discussed during the negotiations to end the lockout, but teams do have the exclusive ability to meet with their own free agents face to face. If you’re trying to sign a free agent from another team, you can’t do it in person.

I hate seeing the Niners lose Takeo Spikes, but I fully admit that is just because I always liked his play. But he is definitely in the twilight of his career, so giving Navarro Bowman a chance to step in is needed for the long term benefit.
Losing David Baas hurts because now the Niners don't have anyone at centre.
The biggest surprise is that SF is in the running for Asomugha.

Sounds like Aso will be going to either NY, SF, or HOU.

Haha it has, and as of right now the next decade isn't looking much better, unless we sign Aso, of course.

Seahawks fill a big hole on OLone as Robert Gallery agrees to a contract, following his former head coach Tom Cable.
Leinart sticks with Houston...thank goodness.
Mare (a good solid kicker for Seattle but still) leaves for Carolina...for a reported $12m over 4 years.
Will Herring, a backup LB, leaves for the Saints. Good news, SEA needs some run stopping LB help in a bad way so it means one more open spot there to bring a guy into compete.

Consider this a welcome-to-the-NFL moment for 49ers HC Jim Harbaugh: RB Frank Gore is planning to hold out when SF reports to camp.

That sucks.
Probably going to get nasty - a 28 year old running back recovering from a broken hip. Team is worried about his recovery, player doesn't want to risk injury in the final year of his contract.
No one from SF has even been able to speak with Frank.
Apparently Desean Jackson is thinking about holding out on the Eagles. But if he misses a roster deadline then he won't get credit for his 4th year of service and won't become a UFA.

Kolb to the Cards for DRC and a 1st looking more and more likely at the moment.

Kolb for DRC and a 1st?? Wow, thats a lot to give up for a guy who's started under 10 career games. I agree he looks promising and have been telling my Cards fan cousin before that he should pray they acquire him, but I thought it'd just be for a 1st. That's a pretty steep return, the Eagles would be nuts not to take that.

Its looking more and more like the Bucs will not be re-signing Stylez G White, but Micheal Spurlock will be returning.

The Eagles' team website earlier today was apparently offering fans a chance to buy Eagles jerseys with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's name and No. 29 on the back. I was directed to this page, which allows you to customize your Eagles jersey, and at the time, Rodgers-Cromartie's name appeared on the drop-down menu among the names of the players currently on the Eagles' roster. It has since been removed from the list.

QB Bruce Gradkowski to the Bengals two-year deal.
I guess this is the Bengals replacement for Palmer.

ya Gradkowski is a stop gap for Dalton, or a decent backup if Dalton impresses and can start at some point this year
think it's a good signing either way for Cinci

Speculation is it will be DRC and a 2nd rd for Kolb....Cards refusing to give up the 1st rd pick....and probably very smart on their part a even adding a Kolb isnt going to spring them way up the win column meaning their draft position will still probably be in the top 10 or so.
