Default August long weekend - what are YOU doing?
August long weekend is coming up in a few days! I thought I would see what everyone's plans are, I don't really have anything planned and have been throwing around the idea of going to Saskatchewan to surprise family for the weekend.

What kind of events are going on around the city?

Its a massive weekend in Iceland, so I'll be out camping with a lot of people like is tradition.

Next year I'll be at Iceland's most famous weekend of debauchery, partying and hot Icelandic womens.

Probably a regular weekend and working on the Monday, since my company does not feel it necessary to pay us a stat holiday for it.

I start my two week vacation on thursday - we will be heaidng up to Red Deer and my son will be in goalie camp at Sylvan Lake, I'll hopefully meeet up with a friend and play a round at the Sylvan Lake golf and country club, and then on the Tuesday after the long weekend we are off to San Diego for a week - I have a round scheduled at Torrey Pines on Thursday......looking forward to this vacation.......
