I am not North American.

I have only played for one team my entire career.

Is it David Volek?

I immediately thought that it had to be a Flyer because they used to play in the "west" conference. So... Thomas Eriksson?

David Volek is correct!

Scored the goal in game 7 in 1993, to eliminate the Penguins who had won the cup in 1992 and 1991

A new one,

I have played with the St. Louis Blues organization twice.

I have scored a playoff OT goal vs. The Calgary Flames in my career.

I was the third player in a 3 player swap in the late 80's. The other two players were both goalies.

I have played over 1000 games in the NHL.

Who am I?

PS, Sorry KC, I didnt get any right I just love making up these things!

D'oh! I missed the part about eliminating a 2 time defending cup Champ!

But... when did the Islanders win the Clarence Cambell Trophy?

In the early 80's

The NEW YORK ISLANDERS captured the CLARENCE CAMPBELL BOWL for the third time in fours seasons, en-route to their second consecutive Stanley Cup. The ISLANDERS finished the regular season with the most points in both the Campbell Conference and the league. The surprising St. Louis Blues placed second with 107 points, three less than New York.

Yeah, I saw that before I left to go to a clients. I forgot how many changes were made in the early 80's.

This one was crazy!

I was traded from Quebec to Washington for a member of the 1985 IHL first all star team and a draft pick that would eventually become Flames property?

The draft pick never played for the Flames.

Who am I?

*I still havent figured it out. I got the draft pick though so I am getting close

feel free to start a new thread each day everyone. It might help attract more attention to the game.

I have no idea who the answer is though.

Mario Gosslin is my guess

This is a tough one. I think I know who the draft pick is too. Got any hints?

EDIT: Crap, I don't know the draft pick after all!

Here is a hint....I was signed as a free agent twice in my career. Both times with a team in the East.

The draft pick that never played for the Flames is Mats Kihlstrom.
