http://twitter.com/#!/SkyNewsBreak
Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her North London home, Sky News is reporting. Nick Buckley of the Sunday Mirror News reports that police have confirmed the passing.
The Grammy-winning singer, best known for her hit song, "Rehab," died of an apparent drug overdose. She's battled drug addiction for years, having most recently checked back into rehabilitation in May.

If true, I am not even slightly surprised. She severely misused drugs to say the least.

Very sad, but unsurprising.

Doesn't matter how much of a punchline she'd become over the years, this is still sad. Obviously she just got in way too deep with her addictions. And she probably was always surrounded by people that enabled her to continue her destructive ways.

Maybe I'm being a cold person here, but is it sad?

I would say the death of a young person with addictions is always sad. She had her issues, but was not, from what I have heard, an evil person.

Did she try and get help? Did her family try and help her? Seems she had a lot of enablers in her life, and didn't do much to help herself. I'm not cheering her death, but I'm definitely not sad.

They wanted her to go to rehab, but she said no, no, no.

CNN is barely talking about Norway anymore, and with this, it will probably slide further down the list of priorities.

None of us really know all those answers. Its up to you how to feel about it.
Personally I still cringe every time I hear about a musician coming to this end. Happens far too often and usually vrey young. Had she cleaned up she might've done some great things with her life, musically and beyond.
