I'm not sure, could someone fill me in how Superman becomes Superman?
Is it gamma rays or something?
I hope they put out a Superman origin story so I can finally figure out who he is.
Basically,
Superman, Kal-El, is born on Krypton which has humonid habitants known as Kryptonians. Their planet it under a red sun, thus their abilities are identical to humans on Earth.
However, when you take a Krypton and put them on a planet under a yellow sun (i.e. Earth) they have special superhuman powers. Superman's powers are a result of being raised on Earth, his human personality traits are a result of his upbringing by Jonathan and Martha Kent his Earth parents.

Not exactly. Other Kryptonians who grew up elsewhere and end up on Earth still develop powers. It's exposure to the yellow sun that gives powers. Kryptonians don't have to be raised on Earth. Superman will also lose his powers if he spends too much time away from a yellow sun.

I think you either misunderstood or took one of my sentences out of context, as I said here:

I'm stating that this is not just for Superman, this is for any Kryptonian under a yellow sun.
He is the last of his kind, his real name is Kal-El. I don't know exactly, but I think he is just born a bad-ass.
With the new movie having his birth parents, Jor-El and Lara, I am pretty sure they will explain his origin quite well.
Pretty sure you got it

^ How does Falls work its way in to The Dark Knight?
He allowed for the death of Rachel, the destruction of Dent and for the Joker to assume command of Gotham crime. This leads to Batman convincing Gordon to place responsibility on him, hence the "fall" of Batman.
Love the shot at the end of Bane walking towards Batman for what looks like will be an unreal showdown.
Yeah, Batman looks beat up and tied, and throwing up his fists like he has nothin left. I know it's just a very fast shot, but that's my impressions of it.
Bane is not a character I like at all, but I have faith in Nolan and Tom Hardy
Tough to tell from a teaser but as far as Bane goes it seems like they are approaching it from a "last hope" sort of superhero angle.
In Begins we saw the origin and how he used his symbol to terrorize and defeat the villains, but there wasn't really any indication that he was Gotham's only hope.
In TDK it was more about Dent and the Joker than it was about Batman and it wasn't until the final scene that they brought it back to Batman and what he can be.
Judging by the teaser it seems like they are approaching it like Batman is Gotham's last hope, he is the only one who can handle this new evil that is rising. Even though he was condemned in TDK, he is their last hope and gotham needs him.
Just my opinion. Interested to see how Catwoman fits into it.

Word on the street is (spoiler in white)...
Bain will break Batmans back in their first encounter...
That might add to the Batman is our last hope idea you are speaking of.
In that flash of a last scene, Bane's moving fast and determined and Batman looks gassed. And didn't Azrael take over for Batman when he was out not Nightwing?

Bane's original appearance was after Batman was broken down and tired from defending the city so much...he just creams Batman in a fight...so, yeah, he is tired

Anyone else feel like the Catwoman angle is nothing more than a cheap ploy to get a sexy woman into this movie, and will probably end up distracting from the main story. It's going to be hard to take this character seriously if she starts purring.
