Yes! That was such a beatdown and the arrogant Rider fans are in a tailspin looking for someone, something to blame these losses on. I hope they hit the panic button too soon and make a hasty poor one sided trade.

WTH did Sask kick a FG when down 30-0 with 2 minuted left in the 3rd quarter?

As TMQ would say, "to keep a shutout off of the coaches record."

Sportsnet reporting the Stamps have signed Lyle Green and Steven Turner.
Quote:
The former B.C. Lions fullback, who has played his entire career with the team that drafted him third overall in 2001, is one of the Canadian reinforcements the Calgary Stampeders have signed following a pair of injuries last week.
With starters Arjei Franklin (three cracked ribs) and Rob Cote (knee) out for three-to-four weeks, Green and former Toronto Argonauts draft pick Steven Turner will sign with the Stamps, sources tell Sportsnet.
The Stampeders would not confirm the moves. A team spokesman said that the club hoped to have an announcement Tuesday. Head coach and GM John Hufnagel told Calgary reporters the same during a media session Monday.
Green and Turner will not play prominent roles immediately, if at all.

I don't doubt that if he has success as an OC that he may get some offers south of the border as he's a bright guy. However he's got some work to do first as right now he's still finding his way as a coach and the Stamps offense looks nothing like it did last year with Huff's input.

Riders Tad Kornegay tweeting that he will be on waivers as of midnight tonight. First one to fall for the 0-3 start.

Would love to see him with the Stamps. But I think he ends up in BC.

He is not the problem with their defense, he is a good football player.

Eric Tillman snatches him for edmonton is my guess.

How does waivers work in CFL? Worst team to best? With Franks being out in BC, I can't see them letting him pass by.

Based on a few tweets with the Esks radio color analyst, he is free for the taking.

After reading around on twitter and some other places about Tad being released, it really interested in me that Marquay McDaniel in part, knows why he is now on the street. How in the world does someone from another team why you are on the street?

From what I gather he may have made some comments about second guessing the coaching.

Doubt he falls that far. He's good enough at what he does.

Really the problem is the new coaching staff. I believe most of them were replaced over the offseason. Either way, the entire defence doesn't look organized (not that it has been anything useful during most years really...but now the weak roster is getting exposed).

Let's not crown the Eskimos in week 4. The combined record of the teams they have played so far is 2-7. Let's see how they play against CGY and MTL.

Combined record of Cgy's opponents is 3-6 and Mtl's is 1-8 they should play some real competition before we crown them in week 4 either.

With the exception of Montreal I don't think anyone in the CFL has "earned" their record thus far. Weak competititon, early season struggles/success.

That and it is only 3 games in. BC went 0-7 last year and was one play away from the West Final.
