That episode reminded me of an Army Wives episode where a Colonel and his wife had to bury their 18 year old who died in Iraq. I know Army Wives is more of a chick-drama, but some of the shows are really powerful.

I think one of the best FNL episodes was when Vince's dad beat the junkie who was harassing Vince. 'I've been in prison, do you think I'm scared of a &&+@! like you??'

The only slight problem with FNL was lack of character follow up. Wish I knew more about Lyla, Landry and Tyra.

They actually didn't want him. The reason they chose Chandler was because he showed up to his interview drunk, unshaven and dirty after being in the woods for a few days with his buddies. They liked that look and thought that's what a Texas coach should look like. Once he cleaned up it was completely against their vision. He was a fantastic actor in the series.

They started the show on Tuesdays, as they thought that anyone who would watch a show about highschool football would be out on Friday nights actually watching highschool football. The original season, which is my favourite, was in the same time slot as Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. It got demolished against those two highly watched shows.

Agreed. It replaced Friends as my favourite series finale. The worst one I ever saw was Will & Grace.
