Default Fire on 14th Street SW

FYI, a fire on 14th Street SW between 11 Ave and 17 Ave has everything blocked off. Anyone know what's affected?

^If so, there is a building addition currently being constructed at that site. Might be related to that. I live a block away and my street is gridlocked. Never seen that before.

Ya, radio also said it was fully engulfed. Have no idea if true, knowing how many times they are wrong during traffic reports.

Photo of the church in question taken from my balcony a few minutes ago. You can see a firetruck parked there but no visible flames, smoke, or damage.

Yeah, the Global video showed thick black smoke coming from (what looks like) a small area of the church). I suppose it can go bad, but it didn't look ablaze too badly from their shot.

I just walked by, and besides all of the emergency vehicles, I didn't see any signs of a fire. Gonna check the news to see what happened.

You saved the basement? Or the entire block? I always forget what a great save is considered by my uniformed brethren...
