I had him as a prof at Mt Royal. I think on the first day I was "hmm?" and then "nope"
As for the parade, will his float be before or after the manskanks in g-strings and spray foam grinding on giant inflatable dongs?

I think Rick Hansen is the Stampede Parade Marshall this year, but I'm sure Nenshi will be in it somewhere.

Well I think that having the mayor lead the Gay Pride parade is fantastic, especially when that mayor is a Muslim and when the city is question has a red-neck reputation. Well done.

I assume the only difference between the Stampede Parade and the Gay Pride Parade is that in the Stampede Parade, the guys wearing cowboy hats and leather chaps have pants on under the chaps.

From what I've seen of Nenshi, he's been one of Calgary's more truly community minded mayors so, for me, his participation in a Gay Pride Parade is nothing more then him appearing as he has for numerous other cultural or community events.

Has he been to a Flames game yet officially as mayor? I recall going to the first few games after his election, and assumed to see him in the owners box and the camera pan to him etc, but nothing, and not at the rest of the games (over half) I was at since that time.
