I feel sorry for the player. How do you ever get to learn how to deal with the real world when daddy runs around like that.

wtf is suitor talking about? Take the safety? Can't let the Lions have a TD to win.
TD to tie at worst and go to OT.
-----
Edit: Wally is kicking the FG so they if he gets the ball back, he can go for the win. Come on Suitor! It was 3rd and 7, not easy.

Lions always seem to find good kick returners. As a Stamps fan I'm envious as it seems like decades since the Stampeders have had a dangerous return game.

Pretty good game.Als jumped to a first half 21 point lead,Lions almost came back to tie it.
Buono taking lots of heat for his late decision to go for the field goal, not sure what he was thinking there.

Wally used to do that here too, and so did Tom Higgins.
It was annoying how conservative they were, I remember the Stamps kicking so many 10-yard field goals over the years.
Sometimes you gotta have faith in your offense and go for it. Three points in that situation did no good because it still left the Lions needing a touchdown.

He felt that with 2 minutes left he could get the ball back and get a TD to win (instead of going on 3rd down to get a TD to tie) . Remember it's the CFL the Als needed 2 first downs to seal the game. The Lions defense failed.
To me it's a 50/50 decision, I could see an argument either way.

Apparently last night was the first time the Als hadn't sold out in 105 games. Pretty impressive streak

The only difference was a TD to win or a TD to tie...either way he needed to get the ball back and get into the end zone so why not give your offense a shot to pick up 7 yards on one play?
He put the ball in Anthony Calvillo's hands instead of his own offense. That's not playing the odds.

I thought balls were supposed to be catchable, in order to make a PI call.
CFL reffing is a joke.

Nice try by the Eskimos but they totally blow their chance of winning this game by giving up 10 points in the last 3 minutes of the half.

For all those 105 games their stadium capacity was 20k, they just expanded to 25k, its quite sad the Grey Cup champs couldn't get 25k to their home opener.
So not impressed.
