Has anyone taken any Transportation courses or Transportation Studies at the U of C? I'm thinking of minoring in it, but I hear it's alot of Math (which isn't good for me) and it's basically just Civil Engineering reincarnated.

OOSD at SAIT, finish in March, started in September... Worst program ever. Try learning a programming language in a matter of 4 or 5 days.... Yeahhhhhhh.
Just can't wait until March when I get a certificate so I can spend some quality time learning.

Tracy and Henderson both kick ass. That's all I know.
Whatever happened to Holden? I loved that guy.

Holden got his PhD in Geography.... he taught my GEOG 321 class last year. I'm not sure he's acutally doing anything Economics-related anymore, but I could be wrong.
Oh, and good luck to the rest of you U of C students. I finished my Commerce degree in December and it feels SO DAMN GOOD.
Sadly, I went to the Den for a coffee today... the first day back for regular students.
I think I'm starting to miss it...

Henderson today seemed like she had a really different teaching style. Me and my friends already dubbed her the nazi. Swearing, crazy rants, she seems really eccentric. Really strange but funny, and I can tell you I didn't daydream at all throughout the class, I listened to every word. Should be interesting.

I am also in that class, and the sheer entertainment value of that crazy lecture/rant she went on today was worth the price of taking the course.

Just wait until you start working, and you get 4-5 minutes to learn a language instead of 4-5 days
I remember a couple years ago when I worked for Petro-Canada for a summer job, they had me program their database SAP and I had just graduated from HS, didn't really know how to program at all let alone SAP, there was no book to learn from - only a few sample databases where the stupid programmer didn't document his work, and I had 1 day. Yeah... I didn't know how to do it
Last summer, I actually got an interview that kermitology actually got an interview from (I'll keep the company confidential for obvious reasons) and they wanted me to program in 3 languages, not a single one I knew and 2 of them I had never heard of in mylife... and I've only taken 1 programmign class in my life. I was given an offer, but declined since I didn't think I could do the project they were asking of me.
