My video card is slowly dying so I'm looking for a replacement.

I'm running Ubuntu on this computer so NVIDIA is probably a must.

Looking to pay $20 or less.

Why is Nvidia neccessary for Ubuntu? I run Ubuntu on all sorts of graphics adapters. I might have something for you, I will dig in my box of stuff.

Hmmm, I was under the impression that Ubuntu had problems with non-NVIDIA adapters. I guess that info is probably dated. I'm still relatively new to Linux.

Let me know if you find something that would work. I forgot to mention that I've got 4GB of ram...if that makes a difference for this.

I got a Geforce 260 with 1.8 gigs of ram. Let me know I will get rid of it cheap. Message me and I will give you my work cell number.

Thanks, it looks like a great unit. My hardware knowledge isn't what it should be so I'm not sure if this card will be compatible with my motherboard. Anyone know for sure?
