This came out yesterday here and I picked it up on Xbox without having seen many reviews, based solely on anticipating Diablo 3, and looking for something with a little more meat than Torchlight, say.
Those wishing to quench the same thirst may enjoy it, though there have been some minor graphical hiccups (PAL version here) and design related gripes I've noticed, namely lack of an overworld map (unless I'm really not looking in the right places). A sense of place is pretty important to me in RPGs, and few games these days seem to go to the extent that the early Ultima or Baldur's Gate games go to, and here (early in the game mind you) its a seeming mess of interconnected tunnel-like areas, and no overworld map to tie the whole room together (shut the fu... up Donny).
Also, very little in terms of armour designs for the characters. Am 7 or 8 levels in, and apart from weapons colours changing, there is little in the way of armour variety. And by little I mean none. Hoping that its at least along the lines of Diablo 2 where there were 3 or 4 changes of armour appearance as you level up.
Its got pretty flashing colours, though, and some decent atmosphere. Quite a bit to recommend for Diablo-type-game fans. I barely remember the first Dungeon Siege, but this is a button masher. And a pretty fun one. Gonna try 2 player local tonight.
(Will add awkward defensive/shield mechanics and not-quite-as-satisfying-as-it-should-be enemy contact/hit and critical hit mechanics as further gripes)
