I saw that lineup moving from my place, it was moving very quickly considering how big it was.

No Romero?
Damn you cruel world.
I'll still head down tomorrow but that really sucks. For the people who went today, or are still there, is it a pretty big expo? I imagine it will be with all the people.
Any good costumes (hot chicks)?

Yeah, tomorrow I'll upload some of the pictures I took earlier. My favourite was a girl dressed as Elektra with a really nice bum.

I liked the Catwoman chick with the whip.
I got there at about 9am and was amazed that the lineup was a thousand people long. Getting in was pretty quick.
I bought 3 prints, 2 Tim Sale and 1 Calgary special Mike Mignola Hellboy print. Also got my Catwoman: When in Rome and Hulk: Gray signed by Sale including a nice little sketch.
The Shatner Q&A was pretty good. He's very charismatic and funny. I also saw the Christopher Judge Q&A because it was right after the Summer Glau session. I mainly stayed because I still wanted to have a rest and he turned out to be really funny even though I have never seen a single episode of SG-1. Summer Glau is hot that's all I have to say about her.
I went over and saw Bertuzzied. Bought almost the entire series of Y the Last Man for a very good price.
Got a bunch of free #### at the DC booth. I could have spent so much more but I only brought $200.

Shatner was awesome albeit somewhat brief. His q&a was only 1hr long. He's really funny though. Told some hilarious stories and made fun of the rioters.
Unfortunately Frakes didn't have a q&a (at least that I saw). Summer Glau was hot but not very interesting. I really, really enjoyed Chris Judge. He was friggin hilarious.
I didn't bother to get photos or signatures of either Shat or Frakes.

Really hoping I won't see pics of my sister on here...
Then again I can bug her about it, and tell her a bunch of nerdy Flames fans are talking about her on the internet.
So conflicted...

I went down a little after 12. Waited for about 30 seconds in line for a pay-at-the-gate pass. Was impressed by the sheer size of the convention. Didn't know what to expect, as it was my first time.
Good way to spend the day, even if comics aren't really my thing.

I heard Frakes left his photo op session early and left a lot of people high and dry. Things got delayed a bit as a result apparently - no idea if true.
Show seemed quite large versus previous years, I'm looking forward to comparing it to the San Diego one in a few months. Anybody going/been to that one?

Hmm, I regret not going now. Last year it was really cramped in that tiny building. I only went to see Nimoy last year and I bought some GI JOEs in the marketplace and got out of there fast.
Reading the Facebook group, it looks like the organizers sent Frakes away while there were still 4 lines of people who had already paid to for the photo op and the organization was a mess and the volunteers didn't know much as usual.

Ya, the process of getting photos was frankly... a mess. Multiple lines at the same time with delays, no one knew where to go, and not enough space to line up. Volunteers certainly tried their best though.
Must be unfortunate for the people turned away, but I saw a long line of people near closing time at a desk. I assume they will get free passes for tomorrow (if they got one day) or have their photo op refunded... or both.

Your sister has a nice bum.
Sorry about the size, I'll fix it and get more up tomorrow.

They were zombie versions of the characters, so they were doing a zombie-like walk.

There was essentially no line up for the BSG actors to sign, pleasantly surprised and got to chat with them for a bit. Christopher Judge wasn't too long of a signing line either.
Summer on the other hand . . . looked absolutely ridiculous.

Excited now, I'm heading down tomorrow with my brother and a friend.
No time to dress up (and no money to spend on a costume), but I'll take a ton of pictures.
For the signings for Sale, can I bring more than 1 for him to sign, or will he say no? It'd be cool to have Last Halloween, Dark Victory and Haunted Knight all signed.
I'll bring a big backpack with them in it, and for all the stuff I will buy. I assume I can bring in a bag right?

Yep, you can bring a bag.
They might limit you to one item for signing though, especially if it was as busy as today. Depends on who it is and if they want to.

Anyone see how busy the Guild booth was?
We will see how this will go tomorrow. Advance ticket and will line up for the first signings for the Guild. Wait 2 hours for my photo, then hopefully not wait in line for too long so they can sign it.
