Never watched it, but I've definitely seen Deadliest Roads. I would never ever attempt that job. No way in hell. Not a chance. Nope.

Agreed!! I've driven some pretty dangerous roads for recreation (4x4) but to have the pressure of carrying a needed commodity to some remote village.......... no thanks.
And yeah, the chick a nice change to burly old man swearing at each other

after hearing from a close family friend that was on the show (Ollie Bear for those that remember the first season or two) about how much fake drama and silly camera work they do for that show, i have a hard time taking it seriously. not to mention the unqualified drivers that are kept around because they make for good TV

I didn't know they were showing new episodes now. Did the season just start?

I wouldn't even want to be a pedestrian there.

I found it scary enough to be driven around China on normal roads.

The way people drive is a cultural thing. The honking, flashing high beams, etc. is just how they indicate that they're coming and about to pass you. I found it annoying too, but you get used to it. At least that's how it was explained to me when I questioned why they didn't just use their signal lights the way we do (should do) in North America.

Imagine this as your only path to a remote village.

A friend of mine in San Diego is fascinated by Ice Road Truckers . . . . or maybe she likes frozen fat guys. Hard to say.

I get they're doing a dangerous job but it doesn't seem to pay a lot relative to the risk involved and . . . . . its getting a bit old, just like Ice Pilots NWT, although the trip to Oshkosh was pretty funny.

The new reality show for Alaskan bush pilots is pretty interesting.

the show itself is somewhat interesting; however, the contrived drama and the way the show is narrated\edited makes it annoying and frustrating........

Old Joe wandering around Oshkosh was good for l laugh.

On the whole it feels like they're trying too hard to introduct drama on that show. Watchers like me are mostly interested in the old aircraft, interesting destinations and different cargo, the drama adds nothing IMO.

The Alaskan show is definately better lately.

exactly the way i feel about Pawn Stars. i watch for the cool items, seeing if they're real or fake and how much they're worth. everytime they force Chumlee on the screen as "comic relief" i cringe
