Hopefully in a couple of years, while we're playing the Rangers....Roman Horak goes blazing up the wing, turns Timmy "the tool" Erixon inside out, rips it top shelf on Lundqvist, and steals us two points from the Rangers.

At least people can't say Feaster is turning out like Sutter. Feaster acquires multiple 2nd round picks, Sutter trades them away.
Our defensive prospect depth still isn't that bad. Brodie and Breen are relatively close to the NHL (although not nearly as highly touted as Erixon), with Leach, Ramage, Pelech and Negrin in the fold as well. Time will tell on this one.

Crap the day just got worse. My friend ( canucks fan) just called to laugh at the state of the flames. I had to listen to "we are going to win the cup" and " looks like no one wants to play in Calgary". Time to turn off the ringer.
Kudos to Feaster, IMO this is Sutter's fault. At least Feaster got some assets out of this mess. Very disappointed in Erixon though, hopefully we draft someone that will crush him.
I know it is going to be popular to blame Sutter for this but really how is it his fault. He cannot predict the future.
Erixon came to camps for the Flames in the past, always said he was excited to be drafted in the first round by the Flames, and all signs showed that this kid was going to be a Calgary Flame for a long time.
Obviously something has changed in the last 6 months that caused him to not want to play here.
Who knows maybe Sutter getting fired is what changed his mind because he thought that he would not get a fair shot since the GM that drafted him was now gone.

Horak has a lot of offensive skill and breakaway speed, but the rest of his game needs work. He doesn't put in much effort when he doesn't have the puck."
Just what we need. Another lazy player.
Sounds a lot like one Rene Bourque.
