Default Why wont my computer automatically connect

To my home network? It just started to do this and it's annoying the crap out of me. It doesn't do this at work or school just at home. Then it takes like 3 minuets to actually connect.

So it eventually connects automatically? It just takes time? Do you have a dlink router?

Sounds like your router might be acting up.

Ive got this problem as well, it connects to another network (weak) so everytime I open my mackbook I have to change it to my home network. Even though my imac detects my home network right off the bat. I've played with setting but it doesn't work.

If you haven't already done these things: Unplug it for a bit and plug it back in, then try updating your firmware if that doesn't help.

But I had a Dlink router that did a similar thing and, despite many attempts to fix it, it never really got any better.

We have a D-Link router at home and we actually downgraded the firmware to an older, more stable version.

Interesting - I simply gave up and now it sits on the shelf. Maybe I should try that out.
