UZR (and almost all other advanced defensive metrics) is almost useless when looking at a 2 month period. Even on a year-to-year basis there's a lot of noise. I know for UZR in particular they say that you need to look at three years of data before things start to stabilize.
Then that would make the graph gozer posted essentially useless, wouldn't it?

Yeah I guess so, but looking at most statistical stuff in baseball early on in the season has to be taken with a grain of salt. It's a cool graph to look at and a lot of it is probably pretty accurate (ie; E5's historically bad start of the season defensively), but you just got to be aware that defensive stats tend to take a lot longer than offensive stats to stabilize. So much on defense is out of the player's hands in comparison to offense (you can't control where and the quality of balls hit to you) that it's tough to isolate a player's actual ability with massive sample sizes.
Huge inning for the Jays. Even Jo-Jo can't muck this up....right????
I'm waiting to see what the bullpen does to eff this up. Reyes might ask to stay in the game himself the whole way even if he has to throw 200 pitches.

If they actually picked Allstars based on merit as opposed to name Escobar would be making a pretty decent case to be on the Allstar team this year. I still think Asdrubal Cabrera has been the best SS this year, and Jed Lowrie would be tough to beat out, but Escobar in my opinion is leaps and bounds above Derek Jeter who'll be voted in based on name. Jeter has been a lot of mediocre offensively since the first 6 weeks of last year. He's basically hanging around trying to become the first Yankee to get 3000 hits. If he wasn't a legend, the Yankees would have replaced him by now.
