Really would have been nice if Man U could have made a game out of it. Pretty much one team on the field facing a series of pylons.

Could have been a penalty on the handball. Not likely to make much of a difference. This is like men v boys.

Give credit to Man U, they came out so early before the 2nd half so they could finally touch the ball.

Just plain dominated.

To be fair, you're fielding Carrick and Giggs against Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta so really, its one against three.

Well that sucked.

No fan of Man U but at least they aren't Barecelona.

Hard to argue with their skill but outside of Arsenal or Liverpool hard to dislike a team anymore than the Dbags on Barcelona.

Arsenal should be pretty obvious with me being a Tottenham fan and I find Liverpool fans to be very, very obnoxious for the most part.

I hate so much about Barca, their attitude is 10x worse than Chelsea or any other team. They are the most arrogant organization in the world, they surround the ref after every call quicker than he can say foul, and their players make Cristiano look modest

that being said, they are on another level. They made the champions of England look like a 2nd division side

I really think this leads to SAF making some godfather offers for some actual world class midfielders, they are great up front, and they have the best CB in the world, but their midfield is no match for Barca. It's not even a match for the top 5 or 6 Premier league teams.

Liverpool fans should like this

Quote:
Javier Mascherano has dedicated his UEFA Champions League triumph over Manchester United to Liverpool fans.
The Barcelona player, who spent two and a half seasons with Liverpool, won his first European Cup medal as the Catalan club defeated United 3-1 on Saturday.
Mascherano, a finalist with Liverpool in 2007, left the Reds for Barcelona in August last year and he hopes the Anfield faithful appreciate the defeat of United.
"I know some Liverpool supporters were disappointed after my exit, they were a little bit sad with me, but this is for them," he told Sky Sports HD1.
and also people are saying some Liverpool fans held up a banner pointing out their 5 European trophys in the Barcelona end

anyone see anything on the rumor that Berba left Wembley before kick off when he didn't even make the subs bench?

saw Phil McNulty tweet it so it's a pretty reliable source, although he stressed it was a rumor

Him not even in the stadium had about the same contribution as Hernandez. Well, it would if he touched someone inappropriately in a pub and was adjudged 'offside.'

Diving and arrogant wanker championship team fan celebration turns violent.

http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/ne...olence-6990251

Could be a trend this year.

At least the trophy wasn't dropped yet... that's been a trend this year.

It's a toss up for me. You either have diving and arrogant wanker players on Barcelona - or an arrogant wanker manager and arrogant wanker fans supporting Man U.

It really is hard to decide which is less offensive.

Totally off topic of the intent of the post but feel free to take shots...

Besides, I think "arrogant wanker fans" can be applied to pretty much every major championship team in the world. There are no and likely never have been any civil fanbases from teams that have tasted success - and even from some who have not.
