I believe runkeeper only has the pro version now, but it's free. Can't recommend it enough. I love being able to make custom runs on it.

I tried out imapmyrun and it work 100% perfectly. Thanks for the recommendation.
So I've been running the same route that the Running Room showed me.. it's a really nice trail. imapmyrun measured it at 17.92 km and I ran it in 1:54:56. Guess it will be a while before I win any half-marathons. But given that I only took up running 6 weeks ago, that's not atrocious.
Is the route private or public? The web site doesn't work very well with Safari so I'm not sure it worked properly.

Yes it is!
Another app on sale that's fairly good is Splashtop Remote. Screen viewer type program for iPhone iPad. Not Universal, but the iPhone version is on sale for 99 cents and the iPad version for 1.99 (from 10$).
Note this requires a client type program on the computer.
Splashtop is a great deal at that price.

^^ OK, I just bought Slashtap. Looks like it only works from within your network- it shows my computer's IP as what the router gives it. Is there a way to control your computer remotely? I'm thinking if I'm at work and I want something that is on my home computer; remote in and email to my work.

Port forward the port that Splashtop is running on (should be in settings on your computer ) and plug your external IP into splashtop. should do the trick.

For those of you running Plex media servers on your HTPCs or Apple TVs, the Plex remote app is pretty nice. You can either use it as a remote for your Plex server, or you can use it to play your Plex library on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Thanks so much for the tip! So I've just set up Google Calendars for both my Gmail and my husband's Gmail accounts. We are subscribed to each other's calendars. On an actual computer when we're logged into our individual Googl Calendars I can see his appointments and he can see mine, but the other guy's appointments are not coming through on our iPhones. Any tips to fix this?
Thanks!

My advice is to set up your Gmail accounts on the phone as Exchange accounts.

Once you've set up the account, go to m.google.com/sync (on your phone), login and then select the calendars you want to have access to.

I love you. Not only does it have jump back AND jump forward (glares at iTunes) but you can manually set the time interval it jumps for. The layout is fantastic and you don't have to wait for iTunes to find the stream. Apple should take some notes on this one.

^^ hopefully something just went screwy and was running something that shouldn't have been running. Give a restart and monitor.
Super stickman golf multiplayer is AWSOME. I almost took a swing at my wife... it got a wee bit intense.
