MANDATORY CPHL Awards Nominations 10-11 *VOTE*

Please submit your selections for the awards listed below to TBA. Please put your team email in the subject line so I know which GM's voted and which need a kick in the arse

This is a mandatory exercise for all GMs.

I’ve started threads for the Sergei Priakin Award and the Darryl Sutter Award so that we have a list of names to choose from…. For the Sergei Priakin Award every team MUST reply with their teams representative for that award

Cliff Fletcher Award - Best CPHL GM Award voted on by all GMs

Gary Suter Award - An annual award "to the defenceman" who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.

Tim Hunter Award - Best CPHL goon award is voted on by all GMs...combo of toughness and PIM.

Sergei Priakin Award - Most underrated CPHL player voted on by all CPHL clubs.

D'arcy McGrath Award - Best Message Board poster award as voted on by all CPHL clubs.

Mike Vernon Award - an annual award given to the goalkeeper adjudged to be the best at this position as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.

Lanny McDonald Award - an annual award given to the player judged to be the most valuable to his team as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.

Sergei Makarov Award - an annual award given to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the CPHL as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.

Darryl Sutter Award - an annual award given to the GM selected as the best 1st year GM as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.

Coach Of The Year Award - an annual award given to the coach selected to be the best CPHL coach of the regular season as voted by the general managers of all CPHL clubs.

Notes:
1ST Team All-Stars - I'll need a vote for your 1st line all-star team. LW, C, RW two D and a Goalie

Folks we are dumping the awards that reward bad performance - so the awards for least effective player, most overpaid player and worst trade have all been dumped.

Ok, we've given everyone a chance to get their nominations in for the Priakin award. No sense delaying for those that would like to get theres in

1. Please send email to my yahoo account (found on GM Page) and include you team name in the subject header

2. No voting for your own players. Keep this fun guys there's no need to get strategic about the voting. Believe me, it happens and it looks bad. If it affects an outcome, I'll pass it on to the league with my recommendation

Yes there is but you just need to vote for 1

I'll make up the 2nd team with the players that finished second in the voting. Never had it where there was just one center or Goalie selected from all 30 GM's. Plus it cuts down on the amount of names I unnecessarily need to track

Or maybe we should have two?

Sometimes a player may be the second choice for a majority of GM and therefore might have gotten more selections

I've corrected it, it might have screwed the results more then I thought. This now allows one player to get a lot more votes for a separation

I would think so. Use the above the links for stats and use your judgement and just vote Flyers every category.
