Why did Hulk and Randy not talk for so long?
What were their issues with each other?

I've read that Macho Man blamed Hulk for ending his relationship with Miss Elizabeth and that he felt he should have been the #1 guy in the business.

Reading the book Death of WCW their dislike for each other was on a professional level, Savage always felt that Hogan used his political power to hold him down from being the top guy, and costing him a lot of earning power.

Its funny, I've told the story before about ending up in a room in winnipeg hotel with Hogan, Savage, Koko Be Ware and King Kong Bundy drinking beer.

For the most part all of these guys were pretty normal and low key, except for Savage who seemed to live his gimmick 24/7, but was a nice guy.

It's quite the thing to watch your childhood hero's pass on.

Here's to you, Macho Man...

Guess the heart attack was the killer, his SUV didn't look all that bad.

A few other video bits from Hogan. Tough watching him talk about Macho Man. Especially that last one.

Over 25% of the performers from Wrestlemania VII are now dead

lot of heart attack and heart disease in that list. and this is quite the stark comparison

As wrestlinginc.com points out, none of the 44 starters from the Super Bowl played in 1991 have passed away and only two of 44 boxers who held a championship belt that year are gone.

Also football players and boxers do not work 300+ nights a year in a different city every night. That work load must put quite the stress on the body.

Remember the tribute song to Mr. Perfect? Who will step up and sing the tribute song to the Macho Man?
