You can check out kfor.com and koco.com. Had one pass a few block north of my place then one pass about a mile south... I was lucky. My parents house was hit. They were in the storm cellar ( called fraidy hole in ok) . Waiting to hear about DMg.

Glad to hear you're safe Nick, hopefully the damage is minimal to your parents place.

2 confirmed deaths in Oklahoma so far today.

Joplin is up 122 confirmed still many missing. But they did rescue 2 more today from the rubble. Everyone is crossing their fingers that the storms lose rotation before they get here.

Brian Williams (the american) started out at KOAM in Pittsburg, Kansas which is about 30 minutes form Joplin.

damn 10+. Another crappy day.

Joplin tornado now classified as an EF5

Our news breaks reporting that along with tornado activity there are straight line winds up to 80 mph. If that hits the debris fields in Joplin it'll be very dangerous even without funnels.

Quite the storm heading north of Dallas. If there is a tornado on the ground in the next half an hour or so on that storm it could hit the International Airport there.

When I saw the pics with the asphalt road pulled up I thought it had to be an EF5. Unbelievable the power it had to pull up the road like that.

Yeah. That and the de-barked trees, the metal frame buildings levelled etc. Every indicator you used and the damage was at the extreme end.

Lots of build up today but things fizzled out really quickly here. Unfortunately, not the case in Oklahoma.

Specifically, the OKC area has had far more than their fair share of this stuff over the last 12 years. Hang in there Nick.

Crossing my fingers for my kin in El Reno.
