Even if he was doping... so what. On a level playing field he won the Tour De France 7 times. It was still inspirational that he came back from cancer to do what he did.

What he should do is come out and do the Andy Petite "yes i used PEDs, but everyone was" press conference.

Yeah, but Armstrong has basically put himself in Palmeiro territory primary to this.

Not a chance, cyclings ruling elite do not like Armstrong, never have, that the tours greatest rider (he's not really but he has the wins) is an american annoys them no end, that he trained specifically to win the tour as opposed to riding in all the classics and the giro to win annoys them (and me ) no end.
If he fesses up they will strip him in a heartbeat and pretend he never rode a tour in his life.

Lets not forget him making out with Sheryl Crow after winning every leg that one year.

It's great that Armstrong has done so many positive things, but it doesn't give him a ticket to lie and cheat.
It was more the people and kids with cancer that he inspired to fight the disease that I was thinking about. I do agree that what he did was wrong(if he in fact did them), but he raised alot of money and inspired alot of people, that's all I'm saying.
