Good one. Maturity, it shows. Some people can have a conversation, others thrive on be-littling others.

As you well know, I was simply trying to show you how ridiculous your 'no harm, no foul' argument is, and apparently I've succeeded, because this seems to be one of the very few times you're lost for words.

No..not false...you edited it...for everyone to see.

That didn't really have much to do with what I said, OR my viewpoints as an individual, but good reply?
All I'm saying is your deflection and dismission of wikipedia is absolutely hilarious given some of the other facts and sources you have brought up, which you should realize, are just as fallible, if not absolutely MORE FALLIBLE than wikipedia.

This is a demeaning quip and beneath you I think, no one believes in nothing at all, not even solipsists.

pretty much nihilism. And I can say that after intensely studying relativity, quantum mechanics and string theory I believe in nothing, specifically I think nothing exists and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Quantum gravity will eventually prove not only that there is no god, but there is no anything.

What does college have to say on the matter?

No i was seriously asking, what do some people consider "fact"? Because it seems like to some they need to see it physically to believe its fact. I wasn't insinuating anything more. It was in response to all the proof everyone was getting me, my point was just because there is no physical proof doesn't mean you can't believe.

Not much else is left after you go the obfuscatory/epistemically nihilistic route.
Ripping on wikipedia is the last outpost of the hopelessly outwitted.

Are you claiming you didn't edit your post where you initially intentionally misquoted transplant99 to make a point?

That is true, you can believe. But it doesn't make it fact. Not even close. History is full of examples of well meaning people getting things wrong when they don't use process to prove it.
I would wager that most people on this board would cite fact as something that can be proven in a repeatable experiment, or conclusively mathematically.
That would obviously include a lot of things people can't touch, see, or that the regular Joe 6 Pack doesn't even think about or interact with on a daily basis.

This conversation isn't staffed with "reasonable people" or else nobody would care if someone wanted to pray in a public ceremony.
