FT: Glenrothes 1975 Single Malt Scotch
I have to pre-face this by saying that I can't stand scotch. I got a bottle of this very fine beverage (retails for $450-500 I believe) for my birthday, and would like to parlay it into something I do enjoy - wine. If anyone is driving through Kelowna, I would trade it for a couple of cases of Summerhill or Burrowing Owl (pinot noir). Otherwise, happy to listen to offers...

I'm with Slava. I'd love that scotch, but I don't usually head to Kelowna and can't think of anything to trade. I will be going to Saskatchewan next week though. Any good vineyards there?
Speaking of good BC wines, have you ever tried the Church & State pinot noir? Did a tour of the winery last summer. There wasn't one red there that I didn't like.

Too bad that you'd be breaking a decades-old bootlegging law if you buy BC wine and transport it across the border into AB.
Silly sin't it?

Just bumping in hopes someone else might see it. I can sell it, but would prefer a trade, as I would feel kind of crappy about selling a nice gift - at least with wine, I'd still enjoy it...

If I had a trade worthy of it I'd be down.
How many pairs of my Flames tickets would it take? Sec 216 row 17. FV for pair is $110.
If you'd even be interested in those seats, of course.

Sorry, I can go to every game if I choose as it is. And I won't enjoy the experience until we get Huselius back.

One more try to avoid selling it... Restaurant gift certificates? Obviously, for restaurants I like, not random Montana's and East Side GC's you have in the kitchen droor.

Caesar's (#1 choice by far)
I'll take any of Gaucho's, Spicy Hut, Harbour City, Silver Dragon, Keg, might consider Earl's (since Mrs Impaler likes it), decent Italian...

I'm in Vlad's shoes as I would prefer wine to scotch so I cannot propose trading for the scotch. However I am headed to Burrowing Owl winery in Oliver BC in mid-June with a car with a large trunk. If you want the scotch badly, I might be able to facilitate a transaction like the one proposed for a transaction fee of one bottle of Burrowing Owl Syrah.

I'm going to bump this again, since I have still not been able to find a good trade, despite numerous expressions of interest. Perhaps, somebody else will see it...
Again, ideally looking to trade for wine or restaurant GC's...

I'll give you three GCs to Boston Pizza, valued at $150. I know they're not exactly what you're looking for, but better than nothing, perhaps?

I should mention I just ordered the GCs a couple of days ago by redeeming some AirMiles so I won't actually have them for a couple of weeks.
