ya I am not criticizing Arsenal, all things considered and from an impartial view I think they are one of the best run clubs in England

and going forward it the fair play rules are enforced they are up there with United and Liverpool (because of revenue) and Spurs (because of Levy's business approach, and being in London) to go forward as the best equipped clubs in England. And in reality they are probably number 1 because they combine both.

Chelsea and Arabia City should fall behind

Okay Spurs, now beat City. Then lose to Liverpool on the weekend, but first, beat City.

It would be unbelievable if somehow Liverpool could steal 4th.

Spurs 'pull' Gomes, Cudicini in goal.

Sigh, an e-mail just went through my office urging us to wear red on Friday to support Man U's "battle" for the League Cup.

I plan on wearing something NOT RED, just in my attempt to boycott. Stupid Man U.

If there was a legit option behind him I could see questioning this injury but with Cudicini as the choice I think he really is hurt.

Fair enough, I figured they'd just had enough of losing because of him.

Wasting a lot of opportunities. Hitting the wall, firing over, theres just no finish.

What a disastrous season, but the writing was on the wall before the season even began. This team needs a striker in the worst way.

Why does Stipe Pletikosa never get mentioned in discussions about Spurs keepers? He's proven over his career to be a very strong keeper. Why does tottenham even have him on loan if he can't even beat out Cudicini? Ridiculous

It looks like Pletikosa might get a couple starts for Croatia in Euro qualifiers in the next few months. That will only work well for his confidence and hopefully the Spurs can give him a chance elsewhere.

He's always struggled with confidence and was at his best when getting starts for his club and nationally on a consistent basis:

He's pretty frustrated:

the one thing that gives me hope, besides all the spanish strikers we are being linked with, is that it is likely Harry's last season with Spurs before he takes over England

he is going to want to make sure its a great big season, and he truly believes the core of this team is good enough to win the league, just needs some help up front and at the back
